AssetBolt is IT asset management for the moment you're standing in front of the asset. Point your phone at a printed label and act — check a laptop out to a new hire, check it back in, move it to another room, or flag it as broken — without typing a serial number by hand. AssetBolt Mobile is the companion app to the AssetBolt web platform, for IT teams who already track hardware, software, and licenses in AssetBolt and need to work from the floor instead of from a desk. REQUIRES AN ASSETBOLT ACCOUNT This is a business tool for teams already using AssetBolt's IT asset management platform. It is not a general-purpose inventory app: you sign in with your organization's existing AssetBolt account, using an emailed code, Google, or Microsoft. Your workspace administrator provides access. SCAN TO ACT Scan a QR or barcode label and get the asset's record instantly — who has it, where it lives, what condition it's in, and when it's due back — with the actions you're allowed to take on it right there: check out, check in, set location, report broken, mark repaired, or start an audit. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT Assign a laptop to a new hire or reclaim it from someone leaving, right as you hand it over. Custody is recorded as you go. PHYSICAL AUDITS Pick a location, walk it, rapid-scan everything you can see, and reconcile it against what AssetBolt expects to be there. Assets come back as found, missing, in the wrong location, or unexpected — and you can move a stray asset to where you actually found it as you review. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL Server rooms, basements, and warehouses don't have bars. Check-ins, check-outs, location changes, repair updates, and whole audit sessions are stored on the device and sent when you're back online — and a retry never records the same action twice. A sync screen shows what is still waiting and what needs a decision from you. BULK CHECK-IN Offboarding a team or clearing out a room: scan several assets in a row and check them all back in as one pass. PHOTOS Attach a photo to an asset from the camera or your photo library — condition on return, damage, a serial plate that's hard to read. ALERTS Get notified when something needs you: an asset assigned to you, an overdue check-in, an expiring license or warranty. Every alert also lands in an in-app inbox, where it opens the asset it's about and can be swiped away once handled. Push notifications can be turned off for this device at any time. PEOPLE AND LOCATIONS Open a person to see everything they currently hold — the offboarding question — and call, message, or email them from their record. Open a location to see what's in it. Standing in a room the workspace has never heard of? Add the location right there. ALSO IN THE APP Search assets by name, asset tag, or serial number. Add a new asset. Switch between organizations. Sign out sessions on devices you no longer have. LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. PRIVACY The camera is used only to scan barcode and QR labels and, if you choose, to photograph an asset — never for anything else.
