iToilet: toilets nearby

itoilet helps you find public toilets nearby, or around any point you choose on the map.
What it does:
- shows nearby toilets on the map and as a list with distances;
- marks paid ones with a currency symbol, and groups markers that would overlap;
- filters by all, free, or paid;
- searches around your location, an address, or a point set by a long press on the map;
- lets you set the search radius from 500 m to 5 km;
- opens a card with description, entrance, rating and opening hours;
- builds a walking route and follows it, rebuilding if you leave it;
- supports iPhone and iPad.
Toilet data is downloaded ahead of time and kept on the device, so searching the same city again is instant and does not wait on the network.
Data source:
Toilet data comes from OpenStreetMap and is licensed under the ODbL. How much detail a place carries depends on how thoroughly it was mapped in OSM.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- The list of nearby toilets is readable again for everyone. In 1.0 it could
come out white on white on phones set to dark appearance.
- A toilet's card now says who may use it - "open to everyone", "for customers
of the venue" - instead of repeating the raw map data, which is how it came to
say "yes".
- Text follows the size set in Accessibility settings, and VoiceOver now names
every button.
- A route no longer redraws itself after being dismissed, and moving the search
radius no longer discards the route you had.
- Lighter on the battery: the app asks the receiver for precise positions only
while you are actually walking a route.
