A short hello the first time you open the app. · Before asking for your location, it explains what the app calculates and what it does not — no weather forecast, no shooting score. · Settings now has a Rate Sundle link. · The rating prompt moved. It no longer interrupts you during golden hour; it waits until you come back to the app afterwards. Fixed · On Korean devices the location permission text appeared in English. It had been that way since the first release.

The night sky screen now draws the sky. · Tonight has a sky chart. Horizontal is compass direction, vertical is altitude. What you used to read, you now see. · The Milky Way is drawn as the band it actually is, arcing across the sky, with the galactic centre marked. · The moon appears in its real phase shape, placed where it rides that night. · Star trails show their centre of rotation and the circles around it — you can see at a glance where to point the camera. · On nights with a meteor shower, the radiant is marked in the sky. Wording refined · The Milky Way now "sits across" the sky rather than "flows" — the old wording read as if it moved over time. · When moonlight overlaps, it now says contrast may drop rather than declaring it washed out. Real clarity also depends on light pollution and the air. · It now says plainly that clouds and light pollution are not taken into account. In a city the stars stay hidden even with no moon. · Meteor showers are named properly — "the Perseids", not "Perseus". · The centre of star rotation now gives its altitude in the southern hemisphere too. Horizon thresholds now differ by direction · Sunrise and the Milky Way need the object itself in view, so even 4° can hide them. · A sunset colours the clouds overhead after the sun is down, so up to 10° to the west is fine.

A tab for the night sky. Tonight · One sentence for when it is actually dark tonight. It looks at the moon too — a full moon that sets at 10pm still leaves you a dark sky after. · If a meteor shower peaks tonight, it says so, and when and where the radiant sits highest. A peak is no use if the radiant never clears the horizon. · Which way the Milky Way runs, in directions rather than degrees. · For star trails, where the sky turns and how high. · A red light mode so a bright screen does not cost you your night vision. Night planning (Pro) · All 12 meteor showers this year — how high each one climbs from where you are, and whether the moon gets in the way. · How many nights this year you can shoot the Milky Way, and which months they fall in. · The darkest nights of this month, in order. The moon is far more accurate now · The lunar position was rewritten with a precise series. Azimuth error dropped from up to 13.6 degrees to 0.3, and moonrise and moonset from 15 minutes off to under one. · Fixed moon phases being a day out. · Fixed moonrise being missed on daylight-saving changeover days. · Fixed the Milky Way window being cut off at 6am. Also · Notifications no longer stop silently after eight days — two months are now scheduled ahead. · Horizon thresholds for spots now differ by direction. A sunset survives a partly blocked western horizon. · Settings moved to the top right of Today's light, to keep the tab bar at five.

You now see 6:51 PM. · If you decline location, the app now falls back to a city in your own time zone instead of Seoul. · Translated the Korean text that was still showing in widgets and on the watch. · Widgets follow you when you move, and roll over correctly at midnight. · Spot detail now follows the same date rule as the calendar. · Built-in spots no longer reappear after deleting, and spots now show on the map even if you open that tab first. · Fixed Pro appearing locked when you are offline.

Tap a spot · Spots now have a detail screen. Preview golden hour, blue hour, the moon, and the Milky Way window there by date, and get directions in Maps. · All 64 spots are on the light map. Tap a pin to open one. · Spots sort by distance, so the ones you can reach today come first. · The light left today is now shown on the home screen. · Share today's light, or a spot, as a single card. Send it to whoever is coming with you. · English is now supported.
