Every photo your phone takes carries more than the picture. The address it was taken at, the minute it was taken, the camera, the lens, the software that edited it. Metadata Remover shows you all of it in plain words, and takes it out without touching the image.
Lossless means lossless. The picture is copied, not re-encoded: the compressed image data is byte for byte what it was, the format stays what it was, and the file does not grow. A HEIC stays a HEIC. Nothing is re-compressed, rotated, flattened or quietly turned into a JPEG.
Free, with no ads, no purchases and no accounts. Not free-with-limits: no cap on how many photos you clean at once, no watermark, no export you have to pay to unlock, and no feature held back for a paid tier. Every free app in this category limits something. This one limits nothing.

SEE WHAT IS IN THERE FIRST

PRIVACY
No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, no ads, no purchases. No photo, and no part of one, is ever uploaded: the reading and the cleaning both happen on your device. The single exception is the map under a photo's location, which Apple draws and which therefore knows the coordinates it is drawing; it is one switch in Settings, and turning it off leaves the coordinates and the Maps button doing the same job.
