Gomi Calendar
Tokyo 15 + four cities
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Official pickup days for 15 Tokyo wards, Machida, and all of Osaka, Yokohama, Sapporo, and Fukuoka. Search items in English, 中文, 한국어, and Tiếng Việt.
Never miss a Japanese trash day.
Gomi Calendar puts municipal pickup weekdays and sorting rules in one free app. Built for Japanese households and for people who just moved here: pick your language, pick your neighborhood, see what goes out tonight.
Tokyo coverage is 15 wards plus Machida City, from official weekday tables. Osaka, Yokohama, Sapporo, and Fukuoka are complete. Eight Tokyo wards stay out because their official calendars could not be extracted without guessing. This is not a nationwide calendar.
What you get
• Today and tomorrow: what goes out, and by what time
• A month calendar color-coded by burnable, recyclables, and metal/glass
• Item search (PET bottles, cooking oil, air conditioners) in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, 正體中文, Korean, and Vietnamese
• Night-before and morning-of notifications
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
Rules change when you move. Pick your new neighborhood first. Dates follow official city publications. Always confirm against the municipal calendar.
Ads appear on search and the calendar view. Core reminders stay free.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The ads can now be put out for collection. One payment, gone for good, no subscription.
Finding your area no longer starts with knowing how to write it. One search box takes a postal code, kanji, or plain romaji, so "shinjuku" is now a perfectly good answer.
Every district that Japan Post has a reading for now carries one, which is most of them. District names have been tidied so ranges are written the same way everywhere.
Reminders, the sorting dictionary, and every collection day stay free.
