PRIVACY
NotaVox has no server. No account, no ads, no tracking: your notes and audio files stay on your device. Transcription goes through Apple's speech recognition service, which may process audio on device or on Apple's servers. Smart Minutes, rewriting, and question answering run on device through Apple Intelligence.
COMPATIBILITY
NotaVox runs on iOS 18 and later. The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 11 and the Pro purchase. Smart Minutes, rewriting, and question answering require Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 on a supported device). On other devices these features remain visible but state that Apple Intelligence is unavailable: recording, transcription, the local summary, detected action items, and organization stay fully usable.

Long recordings now transcribe all the way through.
Past a few minutes, transcription failed every time. It now runs segment by segment with no duration limit, and prefers on-device recognition wherever the device supports it.
A transcription that stalls now reports the failure instead of hanging.
