Mecca Gecko is a hide-and-seek party game for iPhone and iPad. Paint your character to match the scenery, freeze in a hiding pose, or copy a prop. When it is your turn to seek, search the room and tag hiders with a toy paint blaster.
HIDE AND PAINT
Turn your character into a living canvas. Sample colors and patterns from the room, paint your body, and blend into furniture, walls, and pictures. Crouch, curl into a ball, lie flat, or cling to a wall.
PROP HUNT
Copy an object in the map and hide among the real props. Seekers have to spot the difference.
RED VS BLUE
Play a team series, swapping hiding and seeking roles between rounds. Combine the series with Hide and Paint or Prop Hunt.
PLAY SOLO OR WITH FRIENDS
BOT PLAY lets you play offline with computer-controlled opponents. In PLAY ONLINE, host a party, share its code, or find an available game. Internet parties use an online relay; a player hosts the match. Players joining during a round enter as hiders.
MAKE YOUR CHARACTER YOURS
Choose from separate hider and seeker wardrobes. Hiders include the gecko, tabby, bunny, corgi, duck, and axolotl. Seekers include Chef, Cowboy, Detective, and other characters. Arrange an emote wheel and wave, dance, celebrate, or perform a backflip.
EXPLORE FOUR MAPS
Hide in Gecko House, Palm Cove, Castle Keep, and The Conservatory. The maps and core modes are included with the free game.
OPTIONAL PURCHASES
The shop offers characters, emotes, and consumable diamond packs. Diamonds can also be spent on emotes and single-use powerups. Powerups apply in Bot Play and Red vs Blue rounds; classic online rounds do not use them. Purchases are optional. There are no subscriptions or third-party ads.
OPTIONAL VOICE AND GAME CENTER
Microphone access is optional. Mute, report, and block controls are available in Settings during a party. Game Center supports achievements and eligible leaderboard scores; sign-in is not required to play the core game.
Internet access is required for online parties, App Store purchases, and Game Center. An Apple Account is used for Apple services. No separate Mecca Gecko account is required.
