Sixteen new places to visit — forty in all — and every one of them now fills the whole screen on iPad, whichever way you hold it. Found words are much easier to see. A player wrote to say the old highlight was too faint to notice, and she was quite right: the words you've found now sit in a clear green outline, in darker, bolder letters. The little celebration between puzzles is bigger and brighter, and now arrives once, on the moment that has earned it. There are new keepsake medals waiting further along, for those of you well past a thousand words. And if you've turned reminders on, yours now comes at a time that suits when you actually play, rather than one hour we picked for everybody.
