A fresh new look for the player, with bigger artwork and a smarter peek. • Redesigned player: the controls now live in a larger header that takes its colors from the song's cover art. • Click the song cover to see it full size. Click again or press Esc to go back. • The peek now opens below the notch, giving the song title the full width. Prefer the old way? Switch it back in Settings → Behavior. • The peek briefly shows the new station when you change stations or press play. • Hover over the volume button to adjust it, click to mute. • Previous, next and the media keys now step through your search results. • Add the playing station to your library right from the player's header. • Stations without a logo now show their initial instead of a blank tile. • Smoother loading: the station list shows placeholders while it loads, then eases the results in. • Better keyboard support: Tab moves through the player in order, and Space presses the focused button. • Fixed an empty AutoFill window that could flash when you clicked the search field.

Browse radio by genre and country without leaving the notch, and thousands more stations to discover. • Click the search field to browse genres. Pick one to see its stations, then type to narrow them down. • Filter any search by country with the flag button inside the search field. Your choice is shared with Settings. • Many more stations: stations that stream over http now play too. • Keyboard friendly: ⌘F jumps to search, the arrow keys move through genres and stations, and → / ← open and leave a genre. • Duplicate stations no longer appear twice in search results. • "Hide in full screen" works again on macOS 27. • The welcome tour now opens on the display your notch is on. • The player stays open after you pick a country, and the station list always uses its full width.

This update is all about polish: dozens of fixes to playback, live song titles and search, and Notch Radio now uses less memory and energy. • Stations that drop out now reconnect on their own instead of stopping, and a station that was playing picks up again when your Mac wakes from sleep. • Song titles with accented characters (é, ü, ñ) now display correctly, and live titles recover on their own after a station's connection hiccups. • Switching stations no longer shows the previous station's album art. • Control Center and the media keys now always show the right song and play state. • Searches containing "+" (like "C++" or "1+1") now find what you typed. • In the menu bar player, type-to-search and the arrow keys work from the very first open. • A station you save after starting it from Discover is remembered the next time you open the app. • Undo after removing a station now works from either the player or Settings. • Dragging a station to the top of a long library no longer makes it disappear or leaves the drop line stuck on screen. • Adding a station by URL saves exactly the stream that was tested, and Cancel really cancels. • Lower memory use with large station logos, and no background work while the notch is hidden.

• Arrange your library your way: drag any station in the player panel to move it, and the list scrolls for you when you reach an edge. • "Hide in full screen" now works reliably, on every display and whether or not the menu bar auto-hides. The notch gets out of the way before a full-screen app finishes sliding in. • Removing the station that's playing no longer stops the music. • On the free plan, a library that grew beyond five stations during the trial keeps every station; the five saved first stay playable. • The Rate button in About now opens the App Store listing.

Search now finds stations by genre, not just by name. Type "jazz", "lofi" or "80s" and you'll get what you asked for — in the notch panel and in Settings, both. • Discover keeps loading results as you scroll instead of stopping at 30. • The player panel is resizable. Drag the strip along its bottom edge and the station list grows; the height is remembered for each display. • Saved stations are marked with a green check, so you can see what's already in your library while you browse. • Removing a station from the panel is now a single reversible control, and removals in Settings can be undone too. • Space toggles playback instead of typing into the search field. • Fixed: the panel could jump while being dragged, and could collapse when the pointer slipped just past its edge.
