New: live 1v1 word games with a leaderboard, and two new courses — Russian for English speakers and French for Russian speakers. 20 courses, all to B2.
Wordaboo teaches a language the way you would actually learn one: a few minutes at a time, with pictures instead of translations, and every word spoken aloud.

CHAPTERS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
Lessons are grouped into chapters mapped to the A1–B2 scale schools use, so you can see what you have covered and what comes next. Levels describe what each chapter teaches. They are not a certificate, and we never pretend otherwise.
FOUR MINUTES A LESSON
Short enough to finish on a bus. You pick a daily goal — 20, 30, 50 or 100 XP — and change it whenever it stops fitting your week.
IT BRINGS BACK WHAT YOU FORGET
Mixed review pulls questions from everything you have finished. Trouble words collects the ones that keep catching you out and drills those instead. Practice rounds earn XP and count toward your goal, but cannot be failed.
LEARN WITH PEOPLE, WITHOUT THE NOISE
Follow friends by request and share a streak. A weekly league puts you with up to twenty learners for seven days and ranks you by the XP you earn in them. There is no messaging in Wordaboo — you can block or report anyone from their profile, and Friends is off until you turn it on.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Games, Russian, and French for Russian speakers
New: Games got better. Tick several games at once and play whichever finds an opponent first. Matches are quicker, with a combo for right answers in a row and a final question worth double. If your opponent leaves, the win is yours straight away, and players at different levels each get questions at their own level. Change your answer any time before the reveal, and rematch friends. Your next lesson is always one tap away with the new Continue button. Fixed: right answers were sometimes marked wrong online.
New: Friends is now Socials, and it has a second half: Games. Play a friend or anyone at all 1v1, live, in Picture Rush, Sound Rush or True or False: whatever language the other person is learning, you both get the same ten pictures at the same moment and each answer in your own. Every match moves your rating, and the leaderboard shows ratings, wins, win rate and accuracy. With Premium, two people can also play face to face on one phone, no internet needed.
New: Socials, Practice and You have a new look, the same on every tab. Your username and code are a name tag now, shared in one tap; requests and challenges arrive as notes at the top; you find somebody by telling Blip who you are looking for; and every leaderboard shows how far each person is behind the leader.
New: Finishing a lesson is a celebration now: your streak turns over to the new day, today’s goal fills up, you watch yourself overtake people in your league, and new badges flip over one by one.
New: Premium now belongs to your Wordaboo account, not to your phone. Sign in on a new phone and Premium is there. If the subscription on a phone was bought for another account, the Premium screen says whose it is and can move it over.
New: Out of hearts in the middle of a lesson? A short video now gives you one back, once per lesson, so you can finish. After a lesson you can double its XP twice a day, and same-screen play can be tried with a video before you go Premium.
New: Russian for English speakers, from the alphabet to B2.4: 156 lessons, every word recorded. It opens with the Cyrillic letters that look like Latin ones and are not — В, Н, Р, С, У, Х — and every reading shows the stress, which Russian never writes and which decides how the other vowels sound: молоко is read molokó.
New: French for Russian speakers, to B2.4, with every explanation written in Russian and against Russian. Past-tense agreement, the genitive as a partitive and ты/вы are things you already own, so the cards confirm them and move on; they spend their time on what Russian has no model for — the articles, a verb "to be" you cannot drop, and ne… pas.
Fixed: In German for Russian speakers, every translation prompt said «по-немецкий» where Russian needs «по-немецки», and the Russian welcome line used the wrong case. Both are fixed, and a check now catches it for any course with a Russian interface.
Fixed: The recordings for the lesson you are now download first. Deep into a course, a lesson could speak in the phone's own voice until the download caught up; now it uses the real voices from your first try.
