REST IN THE PICTURE Spend a moment with six offline scenes inspired by landscapes and nature. Mix layers of rain, surf, snow steps, insects or wind chimes, fill your screen with art, and set a sleep timer. Rain at Tadasu is free without a time limit. The other five scenes offer clearly marked 30-second previews; unlimited listening is included in the same permanent unlock. The sounds are contemporary interpretations, not recordings of the depicted place or period. A FREE COLLECTION TO EXPLORE Search more than 140,000 source-linked records, from Hokusai and Hiroshige to less familiar artists. Filter by artist, era or category, save favorites, and follow available source links from artwork details. A starter collection is bundled for offline browsing. Additional public records and images download as needed. The catalogue, sources, search and favorites are free. A SIGNATURE OF YOUR OWN Share a work, a finished edition, a workshop impression or a journey as a card. Add an optional name or pen name and an App Store QR code. Standard-resolution cards with App branding are free; artist and source credits remain. HD and unbranded exports are included in the permanent unlock. LOOK CLOSER. TRY THE CRAFT. Today's Piece invites you to notice a print's color, line and space before reading its context. Ukiyo Lens offers work-specific layers and explanations for twenty reviewed highlights. In three free Printer's Workshops, brush pigment, shape a gradation, align paper and rub with a baren as colors build into a finished impression. Follow twelve free thematic journeys through artists, weather, travel and craft. Completed experiences leave seals in your private Seal Book. English and Japanese, native iPhone and iPad layouts and an optional daily reminder make it easy to return to a print. ONE OPTIONAL PERMANENT UNLOCK All workshops and journeys remain free. One optional purchase adds advanced edition tools, unlimited soundscapes, HD and unbranded exports, comparison and HD wallpapers. These additions are included for existing owners with no second purchase. There is no subscription. Restore Purchases is available in Settings. CONNECTED TO ITS SOURCES Ukiyo-e is a licensed native client of the educational catalogue at ukiyo-e.uk. Records retain available source context and links; newly approved contributions include source records, rights or license terms and attribution. Rights concerns can be reported from artwork details. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. The app collects no analytics, searches, viewing history, favorites, interaction data or personal identifiers. Editions, progress and an optional remembered pen name stay on your device. Your name is included only in a card you choose to share. CloudKit downloads public art data and official curation. Apple handles purchases through StoreKit.
