EDB Prep: Education Officer
Teacher & inspector interviews
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Prep for six HK Education Bureau professional grades: record answers for AI interview follow-ups and scoring, plus grade guides, BLNST and aptitude practice.
EDB Prep is an independent study companion for candidates applying to the Hong Kong Education Bureau's professional education grades: Specialist (Education Services), Primary School Master/Mistress, Education Officer, Education Officer (Administration), Inspector (Graduate) and Speech Therapist. Open recruitment is often at the assistant rank; always check the requirements and selection procedure in the current recruitment notice.
AI VOICE INTERVIEW
Pick a grade, record your spoken answer, and the interviewer follows up on what you actually said. You get per-question scores, strengths and concrete improvement notes. Interview Progress keeps every past session so you can see how your scores move.
GRADE-SPECIFIC INTERVIEW COACHING
Official role positioning, common scenarios, answer frameworks and professional red lines for each grade — lesson design, classroom management, student well-being, inclusive education, policy delivery, school support, professional supervision and school-based speech therapy.
INTERVIEW QUESTION PRACTICE
Answer on your own, then reveal the reference direction. Timed drills for self-introduction, scenario questions and bilingual delivery.
WRITTEN TEST PRACTICE
Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) plus aptitude practice, with custom question counts, mock-paper PDF export and statistics that surface your weak topics.
EDUCATION POLICY CASES
Practise the policy questions that keep coming up: student well-being, generative AI, inclusive education and school-based scenarios.
SELECTION PROGRESS TRACKER
Mark where you are in the process and see the time still to go.
FREE AND PRO
Free use covers 20 questions, 15 entries into the teaching content and 3 interview sessions. A one-time 180-Day Pro purchase unlocks every bank and feature. It does not auto-renew.

Redesigned question screen: switch between Question, Notes, Stats and more in one place, and collapse the question info to focus on answering; questions with your notes now show an orange dot. Content language is chosen in Settings (Chinese, English or bilingual). Also fixes hard-to-read text in dark mode and several layout issues.
