Plate & Page: Recipe Organizer
Meal Planner & Grocery List
Free · In‑App Purchases
A recipe home you buy once, for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Save recipes from a link, text or photos, review each one, and start with 5 recipes and 3 reviewed imports free.
Plate & Page is a private, premium home for the food you love. Build a photo-forward cookbook, plan every meal of the week, turn your plan into a reviewed grocery list, and cook one clear step at a time.
Keep your cookbook useful as it grows. Make folders for favorites, weeknights, or dishes to try. On supported devices, on-device Apple Intelligence can suggest course categories; private offline rules provide the fallback. Review or change every suggestion before Plate & Page files anything.
Bring recipes in from a web link, pasted text, photos of printed recipes (read on device), portable .platepage files, the share sheet on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, or Shortcuts. On supported Apple Intelligence devices, describe a dish and receive an on-device recipe draft. Other devices open an editable named scaffold instead. Every import opens for review before anything is saved, and the free edition includes three reviewed imports.
When Apple’s Image Playground is available, create a recipe image from the dish name, description, and key ingredients, refine it in Apple’s system experience, and choose it before saving.
Add cuisine, dietary, allergen, and optional nutrition details to each recipe. Filter the library by diet or cuisine, exclude tagged allergens, and keep the values under your control. Plate & Page never estimates nutrition with AI.
Scale servings and keep your preferred serving count with the recipe. Convert units with bundled ingredient-density references, then drag meals into the week and move them between slots. Search Grocery, switch between Personal and Household items, undo a deletion, or check off an item from the interactive widget.
Guided cooking remembers your step, lets you swipe forward or back, and keeps recipe or ad-hoc timers visible across the app. It ends with a reviewed leftovers flow that saves one cooked dish to Grocery or Pantry. Personal data stays synchronized with iCloud and remains available offline.
On iPad and Mac, a spacious three-column layout keeps folders, recipes, and details together. Mac keyboard shortcuts make it quick to jump among Recipes, Folders, Planner, and Grocery or start planning a meal.
Create a shared household to collaborate on recipes, meal plans, and groceries using Apple's invitation experience. Plate & Page has no ads, tracking, custom account, or subscription.
The free edition includes five manually created recipes, three reviewed imports, scaling, unit conversion, a manual grocery list, export, and iCloud sync. A one-time Premium purchase unlocks unlimited recipes and imports, folders and on-device organization, weekly meal planning, smart grocery building, cooking timers, and household sharing. Premium supports Family Sharing.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Bring your recipes over from Paprika, Mela or Crouton. Choose an export file from one of those apps and Plate & Page reads it on your device. Photos saved inside the file come along too. You see how many recipes will be added and which ones are skipped, such as ones already in your cookbook, before anything is saved.
New focus view on iPad. Tap Hide Recipe List to give a recipe the whole screen, and tap Show Recipe List to bring it back. The list also steps aside while you cook and returns when you finish.
Servings now go up and down one at a time, from 1 to 100, on the recipe page, in Cooking Mode and in the planner.
New nutrition estimates. When a recipe has no nutrition values of its own, the recipe page can now estimate calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber per serving from your ingredients, using USDA FoodData Central data calculated on your device. It shows how many ingredients it used, and it only appears when enough of them can be matched. Values you enter or import always come first.
In Settings, a new Rate Plate & Page row takes you straight to the App Store, and Email Support now reaches our new support address.
