Snap a photo and it’s logged: Kinkventory reads brand, size and material, asks for what’s missing with one tap and keeps your collection in sync on every iPhone. Kinkventory is a private catalogue of your gear. Photograph it, file it, find it again — on your device, without sign-up, away from prying eyes. CAPTURE • Several photos per piece, each with a role: overview, detail, label, packaging. Cut-outs on request, and by hand from iOS 27. • Optional image recognition suggests category, brand, model, size, material and colour, and reads labels too. It is off by default, runs only with your consent and is paid for with credits — a free allowance is included to get you started. The app is fully usable without it. • A question deck fills the gaps step by step: one tap per detail, suggestions from your own collection, undo — with progress, a daily goal and badges instead of form-filling. • Scan receipts and assign their line items to individual pieces; price, date and retailer go straight into the piece. ORGANISE • More than 190 categories, each with the attributes that belong to its branch. Add your own categories, attributes and choices. • Consumables keep a stock count instead of single pieces and tell you when to restock. • Storage locations as a tree, plus NFC tags on boxes: scan the sticker, see what's inside. An inventory mode ticks off what is really there. • Search by title, brand, colour, material and location; filter by category, status and source; completeness shown for every piece. PLAN • Put together outfits by body zone, with notes on conflicts: pieces at the cleaner's or in repair, incompatible materials, missing keys. • Create or import events — from a calendar address, an .ics file or, if you allow it, from your iPhone's calendars. • Packing lists from an event and its outfits, or put together freely, sorted by storage location. Tick off packing and unpacking, mark what's missing. CARE • Care log for each piece: cleaning, polishing, repair, inspection — with date, note and cost. • Statistics: collection value per currency, breakdown by category, brand and status, average completeness. • Share pictures in story format for one piece or the whole collection — you choose what's shown. PROTECT • Lock with Face ID or passcode, blurred preview in the app switcher. • All data is stored encrypted on your device and cannot be read while your iPhone is locked. Photos are kept outside your photo library. • Every analysis starts with a review step: you see what leaves the device. Location and EXIF data are removed beforehand, detected faces flagged and personal details on receipts masked. • Encrypted export of your entire collection to a password-protected file — your password is never stored. • Optional sync through your private iCloud, including photos and receipts: a new iPhone takes over your collection on first launch. • No sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
