Scan a contract, confirm what the app read, get reminded before the notice period runs out. Everything happens on your iPhone, nothing on a server.
Car insurance, broadband, the gym, the router you rent. Every contract has a date by which you have to decide, and almost none of them reminds you.
DueDog does three things, in under a minute:
1. SCAN. Photograph the contract or the renewal letter, or share a PDF into the app. Text recognition runs for English, German and Spanish at the same time.
2. CONFIRM. The app shows what it understood: provider, start date, renewal and notice period. You fix whatever is off and save. Nothing is stored without your go-ahead.
3. GET REMINDED. DueDog works out the real cut-off date and sets the reminder early enough to act: cancel, renegotiate, or let it run on because you decided to.
Purchases too: save a receipt with its return window or warranty period and get reminded before it closes. The deadlines are always your choice from a set of common options; the app never claims to know what the law says.
YOUR CONTRACT NEVER LEAVES THE IPHONE
A contract carries your name, your address, your customer number and sometimes your bank details. DueDog sends none of it anywhere: text recognition and Apple's on-device language model both run on the phone itself. There is no server receiving your documents, because there is no server. No account, no analytics, no ads, no cloud sync. The privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because that is the only label that matches how the app is built. Scanning, analysing, saving and being reminded all work in airplane mode.
THE AI SUGGESTS, YOU DECIDE
The model reading your contract is small and runs on a phone battery. It gets most things right and some things wrong: it can mistake the signature date for the start date or misread a period buried in small print. That is why every result appears first as an editable suggestion and is only saved once you confirm it. Money rides on a cancellation deadline, so the last word is always yours.
WHAT IT COSTS
Scanning contracts, saving them and the standard reminders are free, with no limit on the number of contracts and no subscription. A one-time lifetime unlock adds the PDF export of your contracts and deadlines plus three extra reminder points for anyone who wants more than the standard pair. If the app saves you a payment you no longer wanted, you can leave a tip from the settings. Tips are voluntary and unlock nothing.
REQUIREMENTS
DueDog needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, running iOS 26, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. The language model is part of iOS, so there is nothing to download and no key to enter.
