Nagi: Sleep & Snore Recorder

Hear Your Night: Talk, Snoring

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Nagi records your own night, exactly as it happened. While you sleep, your phone's microphone quietly listens. In the morning you can hear how long you were loud, when it peaked, and your three loudest moments, in your own ears. No setup beyond one tap before bed, and if you like, Nagi can remind you at your usual bedtime. The sound is sent nowhere. Only the loud stretches are kept. The recording keeps more than snoring. Grinding your teeth, talking in your sleep: anything loud enough is kept the same way. On the free plan, Nagi does not judge what a sound was, and it does not tell snoring from grinding either. It is you, listening back, who decides what a sound was. Mark a moment "probably someone else" or "another sound" and it drops out of the numbers; the recording itself stays. On the paid plan, once your night is recorded, Nagi listens back to the loud parts right on your phone, and the morning shows one more card: of your loud minutes, how many were snoring and how many were something else. Nothing is sent anywhere. Nagi is not only for the person snoring. It is also for the person lying awake next to them. Instead of an argument, there is a record: what actually happened, not just what it felt like at 3am. Nagi asks about you before it shows you a number. Every morning starts with one simple question: how do you feel. If your own sense of the night disagrees with what Nagi recorded, you are right, and the screen says so. There are no targets, no streaks, and a rough night never costs more taps to record than a good one. As your nights add up, your own usual comes into view: not a population average, just your own line. Tag what happened or what you tried (alcohol, a nasal strip, medicine) with one tap, and once your record can carry it, Nagi lays your tagged nights beside the rest in minutes from your own record. The only evidence is your own nights. If you already wear a watch or a ring to sleep, Nagi can stand that night's sleep beside your sound. Nagi does not measure sleep with the phone. It reads the record your own device already wrote to Apple Health. In the morning there is one score out of 100, never against other people and never a goal. Under it stand the three parts it is made of, each with its arithmetic printed: how long you slept, measured against the night you ask for, 8 hours unless you change it under Health in Settings; how close to your usual bedtime, the middle of your own last 13 nights; and waking in the night. Deep, light and REM are drawn in the night's picture and score zero, because we measure them but cannot yet stand behind scoring them, and the screen says exactly that. The total needs 13 of your own nights before it exists; until then the parts show at full value and the app tells you how many nights are left. No watch and no ring means no score, and nothing else changes. The reading and the score are free. Your recordings, playback and your entire history stay free, forever. A paid plan (¥380 a month or ¥3,800 a year, 7 days free, renews until cancelled) exists only for the deeper analysis, never for your own record. Nagi is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Nagi counts; it never claims to find a condition. If snoring, breathing or sleep symptoms concern you, please see a doctor or another medical professional. Typhoon pressure, dry winter air, cedar pollen from February: the season changes, Nagi keeps listening either way. Privacy Policy: https://mynagi.jp/privacy Terms of Use: https://mynagi.jp/terms

Your night is bars now: one bar for every stretch of the night, with your loudest moments numbered along it. Tap a number and a player opens at the loudest point, with play, pause and skips of five seconds. The recording stays on this phone. The morning says the night in one line, like "29 min, less than your usual". A hard night gets one plain sentence and is recorded like any other. If a recording stops, your iPhone tells you within minutes, and one tap starts the night again. The gap is marked on the night's page. While the night runs, the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show it. In the morning, a Home Screen widget shows last night. Nights can be written to Apple Health, with your permission, as time asleep and time awake only. CPAP is now a tag. With the plan, Trends compares nights with CPAP beside nights without, and the morning names the loudest sound that was not you, like a dog or a fan. After your third night, Nagi offers an account to keep your nights if you change phones. Cannot hold to end the night? Tap the line under it instead. Settings has a new row, Tell Nagi, to send us a note. Text scales to the largest size, and VoiceOver reads every screen. History now names each night by the evening it began.
