Airwave is server-first. You run the Airwave server next to your media, and it owns your channels, schedules, packages, and users. Apple TV, iPad, Android TV, Fire TV, LG webOS, Roku, and the browser all tune into the same network: the same channels, the same guide, and the same program at the same point in its schedule, on every screen in your home. Set it up once on the server; every device just tunes in.

THE FINE PRINT, PLAINLY
Airwave does not provide or host any movies, shows, or channels. Every program comes from the Plex library on the server you run. Airwave requires a self-hosted Airwave server connected to Plex. The server, admin, and browser player are free and source-available to self-host; this prebuilt app is a small paid convenience.
Plex does the hosting. Airwave does the programming. Airwave is not affiliated with Plex.
