Nineteen questions decide which words you see when you reach for a blocked app. Reva then measures how fast you dismiss each pause, per app, and tells you the day the pause stopped working on you.
Most app blockers fail the same way: your thumb learns the pause and you're through it before you've read anything. Reva is built to catch the day that happens and make the next pause heavier, only for that app.
HOW IT WORKS
Nineteen questions, about five minutes. They add up to a description of your pattern, with a name you can change, drawn as a plate that is yours alone. The same answers always give the same result.
When you reach for a blocked app, Reva holds the screen for about eight seconds while the light leaves. The way out is a small text link, not a button, and it opens that app for fifteen minutes.
Five levels, in order: a pause, a pause you type into, a pause naming what you said you'd rather be doing, a pause someone you chose is told about, and a scheduled block you set yourself. The last one has no way out, because a schedule you set doesn't need a back door.
You can set a level yourself for any app. Reva raises it only when its own measurements say the level you're on stopped working, for that app.
You choose what's blocked. You can unblock it, lower a level, or delete everything Reva holds, at any time.
EVIDENCE, NOT PROMISES
Your answers choose one of five protocols: boredom, sleep, deep work, presence or self-efficacy. Each of its twenty-four steps carries an A, B or C evidence grade, and nineteen of them link to the research behind them. The weakest are graded that way on screen.
WHAT REVA WILL NOT DO
No streaks. No points. No "time reclaimed". No brain training. No dopamine resets. No notifications pulling you back in.
Reva never learns how long you spend in any app: iOS gives it opaque tokens, not app names or minutes. Your answers and every pause stay on your phone.
One morning check-in, at a time you set, off until you turn it on, is the only notification Reva can send.
YOUR DATA, YOUR KEY
No account needed. If you want one, Sign in with Apple carries Reva Plus to a new phone and gives an encrypted backup somewhere to live. The backup is locked on your phone with a key only you hold: we can't read it, and we can't recover the key. Export everything as a file whenever you like, and restore from it without an account.
WHAT'S FREE
Block as many apps, categories and websites as you want. Levels one and two, and seventy-two hours at level three the first time a pause stops working. The questions and your result. The first three steps of your protocol. A count of what each weekly reading found. The person you choose, export, deletion and the crisis path, always.
WHAT'S PAID
Reva Plus: levels three to five, scheduled blocking, every protocol step, and each weekly reading in full. Yearly with a two-week free trial, or monthly with a one-week free trial. Both renew until you cancel. Reva asks you to buy at most twice, ever.
WEEKLY READING
Once a week, one observation from your own pauses, only if it clears a stated statistical floor. Weeks where nothing clears it say so.
