New: optimized for iPhone Duo. • Open the phone and the board fills the inner display; close it and your game carries on, on the outer display, right where you were. • Stand it partly open like a book: the board stays on the flat half and the scores on the standing one. • Video Instructions gain an iPhone Duo chapter, played on a Duo. Also in this version: • The Video Instructions gain a new chapter after the opening, Using the App: drawing a line, the game's buttons, the menu and Settings. • Online and nearby games no longer count toward the daily 600-XP limit, which now covers games against the computer only. • After an online game ends early, Undo and Restart can no longer overwrite or delete one of your saved games; a finished online match counts its XP once, even after a relaunch; and when your account can't start a rematch, the message reads right for an opponent on a Mac or an Apple TV. • A tied game's results card shows no single winner, Watch Replay's labels wrap in long languages, the Sound button clicks when it turns sound back on, and Czech and Slovak name Undo apart from Back. • Titles keep their letters joined in Arabic, Urdu and the Indian scripts, and choosing Arabic, Hebrew or Urdu in the app turns the screens right to left at once. • The live search scrolls a crowd of nearby players, and its messages change language with the app at once. • On an iPhone Duo opened, and on an iPhone on its side, the results card sets your score beside its buttons — nothing to scroll. • The buttons under the board fit every iPhone in every language, the smaller iPhones included. • A replay keeps the board at its full size. • Apple TV: How to Play's cards no longer lift as you read them, the remote no longer reaches the buttons under a finished game's card, the online hub says press instead of tap, and the Video Instructions' Transcript title fits. • Mac: the window opens with the whole menu in view, even with a saved game; the scores and the buttons sit beside the board in a wide window, so the board is larger; the Video Instructions' Transcript opens full size; Undo, Restart and How to Play wait while an alert or a dialog is open, and Restart leaves a finished game's result on screen; the online hub says click and right-click. • On an iPhone Duo the nearby invitation and the resume offer sit on the board's half.

Fixes: • Online: when Game Center refuses a rematch for your account, the results card says why and no longer offers Rematch. • Restart no longer leaves the old game behind in Saved Games. • A long Game Center name in an invitation now wraps instead of being cut off. • Pass & Play: the players' names are in your language, and each player's boxes carry their own number, not just their color. • How to Play now explains how to draw a line on your device, and no longer names just three computer players. Video Instructions: a short captioned lesson played on the real board — the basics, the different boards and the ways to play. Open it from the main menu, from How to Play, or on the Mac from the Help menu. On the Mac, the Help menu now opens How to Play and the Video Instructions. More Games From Our Team opens our page on the App Store, and Rate Squared² is always there.

Fixes: • Apple TV: with a game waiting to resume, the whole main menu now fits the screen. • Results with three or four players and long names now fit — or scroll — so every button, including Back to Menu, can be reached. • If a move can't be sent to a nearby player, the game now tells you — and in a two-player game it reconnects on its own and sends the move again. • An online game that finished while you were away now counts toward your XP and stats when you open it — once. • Game Center's messages after an online game now sit inside the results card instead of over its title. • Messages about the connection during a game no longer cover the players or the board. • Online: rematch offers arrive sooner, a live game that lost its first move now recovers, and a child account is told what Screen Time allows. • Long Game Center names now show in full on the main menu — on a line of their own when they don't fit beside the logo. • Trying to draw a line that's already drawn now gives a gentle "no" sound and buzz. • Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu: the S² logo no longer appears reversed. • The widget, the Mac menu bar, and the dates on the stats and saved-games screens now follow the language you choose in the app. • The Stats screen's Done button is now a sensible size. • Messages about playing nearby now name the Play Nearby option you actually see.

Fixes: • Rate Squared² now appears after every finished game until you tap it, not only after a win. Invite a friend, rate, share and more games — now wherever you start or finish a game: the main menu's footer, the results screen, Settings and the Play Online hub each offer Invite a Friend, Rate Squared², Share Squared² and More Games From Our Team.
