JigRipper listens to live Irish traditional music and tells you what tune is being played — while it's still being played. No recording uploads, no network needed: everything runs on your device. It continues to work when your device is locked, and integrates with your watch!

UNDER THE HOOD
JigRipper's recognition models were trained specifically on Irish traditional music — jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas, slides, waltzes and more — and its notation engine was built from scratch for the way trad tunes are actually written and read.

A free browser version runs at jigripper.com — no install, no account. It runs the same JigRipper neural models, so you can see it work before you buy.
The app adds what a browser can't: it keeps listening while your screen is locked, works with no Internet connection at all, and puts the current tune on your Apple Watch.

- Neural Model: Rare tunes (tunes with few settings) are now easier to identify.
- Tune River: Consolidation and noise identification improved. Key changes now identified and rendered.
