Better on every iPhone, and it brings the Duo features to iPad, so no one is left out. • iPhone Duo: open it and your book stays on one screen while the other keeps a companion close: define and translate, contents and bookmarks, your library, or AI tools (summary so far, explain a passage, Ask AI). • Ask AI now searches your whole library and answers with numbered citations you can tap to jump to the passage. Turn on the optional on-device library index and choose Off, What I've read, or Whole book. With What I've read, it never spoils what's ahead. It works for page books too, using text recognition, and it indexes quietly in the background only when your battery can spare it. • Read two books side by side, each on its own page; narration follows the one you press Play on. Manga shows the whole page beside the panel being read, and a translation can sit in columns next to the original. • Half-fold it on a table for big play, skip and sleep controls under the book. Turn any book into an audio book you keep. • Export any book as audio in high quality, with passage markers, in the book's own reading language and at the speed you choose with a new slider. • Send it to your TV or speaker, or to your Apple Watch. Exported books sit on audio shelves on the home screen. • Background sound (rain, hum, fire) now plays softly under the voice, set from the home screen. • Nabra, a natural Arabic voice, is now in the voice picker, with an optional light English voice and a Saudi Arabic voice. • A new, softer word highlight, with a Strong word highlight switch under Tt. • Arabic books get right-to-left controls. • New iPad and tablet layouts, including a two-page spread in landscape. • Manga: a "Read in native tongue" switch for each book. • Make a clean book from any PDF. • 5 new books in Browse, and more choice over what sync carries. • Fixes: Arabic narration that fell silent, a manga crash, a freeze on rotation, the reading order, and a cooler run when your device heats up.

Your music keeps playing softly under the voice, and pausing the book pauses the music too. • Sync across iPhone, iPad and Android through Google Drive or any cloud folder: your reading place, shelves, books (PDFs and comics too) and translations follow you — and you can read from a friend's library without mixing it into yours. • Your book keeps reading with the phone locked or the app closed — novels, manga and PDFs alike. • Camera: crop and rotate a photo before it is read, and small text is read correctly in its own language. • Export any book as a bilingual EPUB with chapters and a contents page; PDFs keep their pictures in a much smaller file. • Raise your wrist for the time, chapter and page; with Premium, see every word as it is read and jump to any chapter and page. • Sleep Check: turn on a gentle "still listening?" every 15 to 60 minutes or at each chapter's end, with the pages you would miss shown for each choice. No answer, and the book goes back to where you last answered. • "Hey Siri, read a book in Auto-Reader", a Live Activity on the Lock Screen, and complications for your watch face. • Themes now have real texture: aged parchment, green marble, Gilded Heirloom in black marble veined with gold, and the new Rosso Antico — Roman red marble, with statues from The Met. • Leaving a book keeps it reading, with a small "now reading" bar on the home screen. • Your library shows real covers — the book's own or its published cover — and a parchment cover for the rest. Book details show when it was first published and, in your language, a synopsis translated on your device.

A voice of its own for Arabic and a calmer read everywhere else. • Nabra reads Modern Standard Arabic in a natural voice and fills in the missing diacritics as it goes. Text that already carries them is read exactly as written. It is a one-time download, offered the first time you listen in Arabic. • Pick a language while you are listening and the passage restarts in it straight away, instead of changing only at the next paragraph. • When a language pack is missing, the app names it and fetches it in one tap. • Pages turn in the middle of a paragraph, so a long paragraph no longer holds the page back while you listen. • Voice previews are ready before you tap them, so changing voice or language is quick. • Sepia Parchment is the new default, and every theme is free for your first two weeks. Tap a locked one to try it on before you decide. • Quiet Dusk is rebuilt in green marble with gold, and night reading on the light themes is properly readable again. • The interface now reads in Lora, a typeface made for long reading.
