ルミナの塔は、魔王アビスを7つに分割して封印した場所。
部位は別々の階にあるのではなく、塔そのものが封印空間になっている。
最上階に到達すると塔は一度「閉じ」、挑戦者は再び入口に戻される。
次の巡では塔を支配する部位が変わり、世界のルールごと書き換わる。
■ 遊びかた
戦闘は全自動。あなたが選ぶのは、層をクリアするたびに提示される装備だけ。
候補にはそれを着た主人公が描かれるので、見た目で選べる。
■ 7つの巡、7つのルール
一巡 監視 ― 敵に先手を取られやすい
二巡 破壊 ― その巡だけ「巨躯」が現れる
三巡 創造 ― 倒した敵が同じ層で作り直される
四巡 境界 ― 窓の外の景色が破れる
五巡 支配 ― 魔物が戦わずに膝をつく
六巡 生命 ― 塔が脈打ち、敵が体力を取り戻す
七巡 アビス ― 敵がほとんどいない。声だけが響く

装備379種（7部位・4グレード・3セット）
敵97体（各層12体の候補から毎回2体が選ばれる）
エンディング20種、実績・称号16種
■ スコアは腕前で動く
固定点は最小限。被弾の少なさが主な要因で、ランクは F 〜 SSS の7段階。
第七巡を制すると物語が完結する。
倒してきた七つの部位はすべてルミナの中にあり、
主人公は勇者でも魔王アビスでもない「第二のアビス」になる。
