Point your camera at a printed menu, a chalkboard, or several pages at once. TravelTaste rebuilds it as a clean, scannable menu — sections in order, prices untouched, everything readable in a dim restaurant with one hand.
UNDERSTAND THE DISH
Tap anything for a longer description, what's actually in it, how it's cooked, and the cultural context that explains why it's on the menu. Useful when a translation is technically correct and still tells you nothing.
ALLERGENS AT A GLANCE
Set your profile once and every dish is checked against it. The EU's 14 major allergens plus pork and alcohol, flagged on the menu itself. Optional filters for pregnancy, gout and purines, halal and kosher. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are marked as you scroll.
ORDER WITHOUT THE AWKWARDNESS
Pick your dishes and hand the phone across the table. TravelTaste shows a full-screen card in the restaurant's language listing exactly what you want, grouped into starters, mains and drinks. Add a note, add a drink that isn't printed on the menu, adjust anything.
SPLIT THE BILL
Photograph the receipt at the end. TravelTaste reads the lines, matches them to what you ordered, and works out who owes what.

The app follows your device language. The menu's language is detected automatically — tuned for Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai, and it handles the rest too.

Two scans free to start, plus one more for sharing the app. After that, passes for one day, one week, two weeks or a month. Each is a single payment. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no ads, and no account to create or delete.
A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Translations, descriptions and dietary flags are generated by AI. They are there to help you decide, not to replace asking. If you have a serious allergy, always confirm with restaurant staff. Anything that looks wrong can be reported from inside the app.
