Best with the sound on — headphones, or flip the silent switch. Start with the three free squishies, and pick any one you like as a gift the first time you open it.
Press the squishy on your screen and it sinks exactly as far as your finger pushes. Let go and it wobbles its way back. That is the whole app. No score, no timer, no opponent.
■ How hard and how fast you press comes back to your hand
A spring-damper simulation drives the sinking, and both the haptics (Core Haptics) and the sound read from that same simulation. Press slowly and it groans slowly. Stop your finger and the sound stops with it. Nothing here is a recorded sound effect being played back — it is synthesized as you press, so a different squeeze gives you a different sound.
■ Every squishy feels different
Dough, glass, vinyl, bubble wrap. How deep it sinks, how slowly it returns, what it sounds like — all tuned per material.
- Café Cat Soufflé … sinks forever downward, but barely stretches sideways
- Milk Pudding … firm to the touch, yet it jiggles long after you let go
- Shaved Ice … crunchy ice and a chewy cup, switching within one object
- Bubble Wrap … pop them one by one; they quietly fill back in
■ Every squeeze counts
Each squeeze is counted, per squishy. Ranks climb from bronze to rainbow and the card frame changes with them. Those counts double as points you can spend to try a squishy you do not own yet.

- One finger to press, two to pinch and squeeze deeper, or drag outward to stretch
- Shake your phone and it wobbles in your hand
- Tap beside the squishy to clear the controls away and fill the screen
