Truco Claro: Learn & Play

The Argentine game, made clear

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Truco is the best card game you've never played — and the hardest to pick up. Truco Claro shows you the ranking, the score, and the stakes, every hand. Truco is Argentina's national card game — three cards, three tricks, and a whole lot of lying. It's loud, fast, and gloriously unfair. It's also notoriously hard to learn if nobody at your table already knows it. Truco Claro fixes that without changing a single rule. MADE CLEAR, NOT MADE EASY The rules of Truco aren't complicated. What's hard is that nothing is visible. The stakes, the trick count, who wins ties — traditionally it all lives in players' heads, and newcomers spend months lost. Truco Claro puts it on screen: - A permanent status bar showing the trick count, what the hand is currently worth, and whether you win ties - Every option labeled with what it does and what it costs — no more guessing what happens if you say no - A "why?" on every result, explaining exactly how the hand was decided - Optional power numbers on each card, so you never have to remember that a 3 beats a King Turn the helpers off whenever you like. The game underneath is the real thing. TWO GAMES IN ONE Start with Truco Simple — tricks, calls, and nerve. It's a complete game and you can be playing in two minutes. When you're ready, unlock Envido: the counting round that turns Truco from a card game into a mind game. AN OPPONENT WORTH BEATING Four difficulty levels and a cast of opponents with real personalities. One calls with nothing. One only raises when he's holding something. One won't stop talking. Learn to read them — that's the actual skill. The AI never sees your cards. Not at any difficulty. It plays the same information you do. LEARN THE DECK FAST The Spanish deck's ranking is genuinely strange: two sevens near the top, two near the bottom, and threes that beat face cards. Our drill targets exactly the comparisons people get wrong, and gets you there in days instead of months. AT THE TABLE, TOO Teaching someone in person? Truco Claro works as a companion for a real deck — digital score beans, a hand-signal reference, and the reserved-word list every new player needs within reach. WHAT'S INSIDE - Full Truco Argentino rules, properly implemented — pardas, mano ties, "el envido está primero," all of it - Truco Simple mode for learning - Four AI difficulty levels, none of which cheat - The Claro layer: power numbers, point values, live hints — each toggled separately - Ranking drill with spaced repetition - Practice mode: play with your opponent's cards face up - Score display in the traditional malas/buenas style, or plain numbers - Works completely offline. No account. No connection needed. NO REAL MONEY. NO IN-APP PURCHASES. NO ADS. Truco Claro is a card game, not a casino. Points are points. Play it once and you'll understand why Argentines argue about it.
