Replies, and finding things in a friend's list. • Reply to a comment and the person knows it was aimed at them. They get a notification, and the reply shows what it's answering. • Search inside anyone's list. Open a profile, tap the find box, and jump straight to what they thought of a specific film, album or book. • Setting up an account now offers to find the people you already know from your contacts, with everyone it finds ticked so it's one tap. Only numbers and emails are checked, never names. Also fixed: tapping a search result now actually jumps to it, the results no longer vanish when you scroll to reach one under the keyboard, and the reply box no longer zooms the page in when you tap it.

Bring your ratings with you. If you already rate things on Letterboxd, Goodreads, IMDb or StoryGraph, you can now bring your whole library across in one go. All four let you export for free, and it works on your phone. Everything lands in a queue you rank at your own pace. Nothing gets scored for you. • Import your ratings from Letterboxd, Goodreads, IMDb or StoryGraph. Choose the export file and the whole library comes across, ratings and all. • New accounts get offered the import during setup, and your first five come from your own library instead of a list of popular titles. • Your feed no longer sits empty on day one. See what everyone else is ranking, and follow people straight from there. • The profile wallpaper button is somewhere you can actually find it now.

Any photo as your wallpaper. Once five friends have joined from your invite, you can use a picture from your camera roll instead of a cover from your list. Invites now carry what you were looking at. Share from a recommendation and it is waiting in their inbox when they join, rather than a link that explains nothing. Tap the eye on your profile to clear everything off your wallpaper and see the art on its own. It stays that way until you tap it again. Fixed the search box zooming in when you tapped it, and swiping back off a page no longer flickers on the way out.

Profile wallpapers. Pick any cover from your list and drag it into place behind your profile. Unlocks when one friend joins from your invite. Game night. Build a bracket out of what your group has ranked, then argue it out one matchup at a time until something wins. Average scores on everything, so you can see what the rest of us made of it. Unlocks when two friends join from your invite. All-Time Favorite, a new tier above Loved. Anything you score 9.5 or up now gets a star. Search is quicker, and nothing you have already ranked clutters up the suggestions.

Ratings now have five levels instead of four, including a new "It was bad" tier, so your score actually reflects how you felt about something instead of getting rounded into a wider bucket. Fixed a bug where a friend's music rankings wouldn't show up on their profile if they had "rate songs separately" turned on. You can now see their music tab regardless of your own settings. Fixed the App Store link for people outside the US who couldn't open a shared invite. Search is noticeably faster.

Now available on iPad. Soulmates: if you and a friend end up with basically the same taste, the app tells you. Drag to reorder your list, tier by tier. Rate songs separately from everything else, if you want to. Flip it on in Settings. Fixed the scroll jumping back to the top when you open something and come back. Fixed dragging to reorder not scrolling the page when you drag near the bottom. Fixed a rare stuck loading screen when switching screens quickly. Top Rated loads noticeably faster. Tapping a comment, review, or recommendation now takes you to that person's profile, every time.

Comment on any ranking, right where you see it, whether it's yours or a friend's. The app now opens straight to Feed. Vibes, the mood search, lives there too now, one tap instead of two taps into Search. Fixed rating screens being unreadable in dark mode, plus smaller fixes throughout.

Search a movie series or book series, like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, and see the whole series as one result with each entry inside it.
