Developed after the two Kona Low storms struck Hawaii in March 2026 with catastrophic flooding, StormWatch exists so residents and visitors can stay informed and safe when it matters most.

• Live Activities update on their own — the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen alert now refresh automatically from our servers, even when the app is closed. When an alert is extended, upgraded, or cancelled, your phone knows right away.
• Alerts that stay active for days now keep updating reliably, even after your iPhone restarts the app in the background.
• Fixed an Apple Watch complication issue where an expired alert could linger on your watch face — it now always reflects what's current.
