A basement egress window is the large, code-compliant window that turns a dark cellar into legal living space — a bedroom, a rental suite, a family room — and gives everyone down there a real way out in an emergency. Brightment shows you what yours would look like, before anyone digs. HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph your basement window — from inside the room, or from the yard. 2. Choose a window style, frame finish, and window well. 3. Get a realistic design concept back in under a minute. Keep it, compare it, share it. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Interior Design — see your room with real daylight coming through a proper window • Exterior Design — see the window well and the landscaping around it before excavation starts • My Projects — every concept you generate, kept in one place to compare and share WHY IT MATTERS • A real way out. An egress window is a code-compliant emergency exit. It is what makes a basement bedroom legal. • See it before you dig. Excavation and foundation cutting are not reversible. Decide what you want while it is still a picture. • Bring your household along. Show a partner or a tenant the actual result instead of describing it. • Talk to your contractor with something to point at. A concept removes most of the guesswork from a first quote. ABOUT BRIGHTMENT Brightment designs and installs basement egress windows across Canada. We handle the whole job — design, permits, excavation, foundation cutting, installation, the window well, and the landscaping afterward. One crew, one warranty. Financing is available with $0 down through our partner, subject to approval. The app is free. New accounts start with credits to generate concepts at no cost, and there is nothing to buy inside the app. PRIVACY Your photos are uploaded securely and processed by our AI design provider to generate your concept. You can delete your account, your photos, and every design you have generated at any time from Account > Delete Account. Full details at brightment.ca/privacy-and-policy IMPORTANT Design concepts are visualisations, not engineering drawings. Egress requirements vary by province and by property. Every project is confirmed by an on-site assessment before any work begins. Questions? support@brightment.ca
