New game, Jewel Thread: drag a line from each gem to its twin until every square of the board is filled. Gold arches, mirrors, ring squares and honeycomb boards join in as you climb through ten jewel rooms. Feast Sort is now Shelf Sort, with a whole new look: 32 shop and pantry rooms and more than a hundred things to sort. Endless Dash is a little faster. Friends are listed by who was online most recently. Paddle Blitz and Brick Blaster have left the arcade.

Endless Dash: pick your runner from a cast of ten. Three are free, and the coins you collect open the rest. Coins and runners stay with your account. The road now leaves the city for forest, country, desert, snow, boardwalk and night pine paths, with real things to jump, duck or dodge, and the run gets faster than before. Solitaire: always at least two Resets. Later levels get harder in how the cards are laid out. Corner numbers no longer touch the suit symbols. Chroma Pour: Hard levels are more crowded, with no empty bottle.

Solitaire: new card backs and felt colours as you climb, Undo and Unbury boosters, and the deck shows how many Resets are left. Word Dash: ten new scenes, compound word levels, and a clue for every word. Chroma Pour: special bottles arrive one at a time, and each level is the same board every time you play it. Check-in streak: earn a streak save every 7 days in a row, up to four. Weekly draw: music from three minutes out and a countdown for the last ten seconds.

Chroma Pour: every bottle is the same shape now, so crowded boards show bigger bottles. From level 20, every fourth level is a Hard level, marked with a Hard! tag. Rope Snip: the rail you can slide is easy to see now, and arrows show it moves until you first drag it. Ads that got stuck on screen now close.

Sudoku and Solitaire are career games now. Sudoku starts easy and climbs, with 2 lives refilled every fifth board. Every Solitaire deal can be won. Rope Snip: rails carry the swing, and each new idea gets a card when you first see it. Word Weave: the Word button works down to the last word. Orbz: the iPad board has a phone's shape, so the aim line matches. Tic Tac Toe and Drop Four have left the arcade.

League: get a notification when someone passes you. Run XP has no daily limit. Tickets: a new best in a run game pays 4, a #1 pays 45. In career games, the week's first #1 taken from another player pays 30. Play time earns 1 Ticket per 5 minutes, and paused time does not count. Chroma Pour: levels come in fives, with an easier one every fifth. Quick Math and Trivia Rush: nine colours, shuffled every run. Endless Dash: louder music, softer coins. Orbz: the aim line reaches across an iPad.

Play time pays more: in games you play in runs, every 5 minutes earns 2 Tickets, added up across your runs. Endless Dash: a new runner, a longer view down the road, and new music and sounds. Chroma Pour: a shuffle never adds liquid, and a bought bottle no longer shrinks the rest. Tilt Balance: pull the phone toward you to roll back, in any pose. Play Again lets you choose the angle. League: your own row is now bright blue. Quick Math and Trivia Rush skip the old green first level.

Tilt Balance works on iPhone again. Chat: press and hold your own message to delete it. Friends: Remove friend is now in the three-dot menu. Game-over missions show a progress ring and count your run right away. Paddle Blitz: end a run from the pause card and keep your score. Easier starts in Flappy Wings, Jumpladder, Rock Blaster, Fruit Slash and Block Stacker. Fruit Slash bombs always leave a clean cut. Invited by a friend? Enter their code when you sign up.

New ways to collect Tickets, every day and every week. Weekly leagues: every game you play earns XP, and each week you race up to 29 other players in your league. The top 20 win Tickets when the week ends, and higher leagues pay more, up to 150 Tickets for 1st place in Diamond. Climb from Quartz to Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond. Daily quests: three new goals every day, the same for everyone. Finish all three for bonus Tickets. Medals for every game: bronze for 10 runs, silver for the top quarter of its leaderboard and gold for the top tenth. Each medal pays Tickets once. A stronger streak: one free save a week keeps your run going if you miss a day, and bonus Tickets arrive at 14, 30, 60, 100 and 365 days in a row. The Last-Minute Sprint now doubles Tickets for time played too. A new welcome, and a How WinSpree Works guide in Settings.

Earn Tickets just for playing. Every five minutes you spend in a game earns a Ticket, up to three a visit. They are paid when you go back to the Games tab. Leaving a game or closing the app now submits your score, so no run is lost. Career games celebrate every level you clear, with a word for the moment, rings and a slide into the next level. Every tenth level adds fireworks. Endless Dash has a whole new road that turns, climbs and dives through tunnels, over bridges and between city streets. Star Defender has new ships, new music and new sounds. Block Drop has see-through glass and brighter backdrops. Tilt Balance has a new soundtrack. Solitaire has new card art. Brick Blaster no longer shakes the screen or drops extra-life capsules. Scores submit faster at the end of a game, and ending a game from the pause menu is now quiet: no game-over sound, no vibration and no screen shake. Also fixed: Play Again in Arrowcoil could pay no Tickets.

Every game has sound now. All thirty-one games have music and sound effects, written for each one. You can turn the music and the effects off independently, from the pause screen inside a game or from Settings. The Games tab opens straight to your games instead of sitting on a loading spinner. Block Drop has twenty-five new backdrops. Tilt Balance draws a much cleaner sky. Quick Math and Trivia Rush share a new world that shifts as your streak grows. Jumpladder has fewer boosters and fewer enemies on a board. The Sweepstakes banner now says how many winners the week's drawing pays. Also fixed: a Feast Sort board could run out of legal moves without telling you, a Tickets popup could land on top of a game you had already started, and Tic Tac Toe marked the wrong squares when you won.

Missions now pay tickets. Every game shows three missions on its game-over screen. Finish all three in a set and you earn tickets for it — two for your first sets in a game, three for every set after that — and there is no daily limit on them. One of the three is always to play on a few different days, so a set finishes over a couple of days rather than in one sitting, and the next set opens as soon as you finish the last. You can end a run from the pause screen and keep the score. Until now the only way out of a run you no longer wanted was to lose on purpose. In Word Weave, tap any word you have found — on the grid or in your bonus list — to see what it means. The board also has a new top bar. In Chroma Pour, the Free booster now opens locked bottles as well as ice and bandages, and Undo shuts them again. The app is much smaller to download and to update than it was. Also fixed: in Arrowcoil, a heart bought with an ad could arrive after the run had already ended.

WinSpree is open beyond the US and Canada. The weekly sweepstakes now runs in Australia and New Zealand as well as the US and Canada, and the arcade itself is open in Switzerland. Sign-in has a country picker, so you can type your number the way you normally write it. Registration asks for your country, and only asks for a state or province where the age of majority actually varies. If you live somewhere the sweepstakes does not run, the whole arcade still works — every game, the leaderboards, friends and messages. You just cannot earn tickets or win prizes, and the Sweepstakes tab now says so plainly instead of showing buttons that would not work. The daily check-in is a streak now. Check in on consecutive days and the reward climbs: 1 ticket most days, 5 on day 4 and 10 on day 7, then the cycle starts over. One check-in per day, and missing a day sends you back to day 1. Watching an ad no longer awards tickets — the check-in, your high scores and invites are how they are earned. Invites are worth more, and pay differently: you and your friend each get 50 tickets, and they arrive once your friend posts their first high score rather than the moment the code is entered. Prize amounts are in US dollars; outside the US the gift card is issued in your local currency at the equivalent value. The Official Rules and the Privacy Policy have both been rewritten for the new countries.
