The classic imposter game with added features
Everyone gets the same word. Everyone except one person.
Odd Person Out is a talking and lying game for one phone and a group of people in the same room. Pass the phone around and each player taps to see their card. One of you gets a card that says you are the imposter. Then you go round the circle, everyone gives one clue about the word, and the imposter has to bluff through a conversation about something they cannot see.
Then you vote. If you catch the imposter, they get one guess at the word to steal it back.
WHAT YOU GET
675 words across 32 categories, from Food and Drink to Myths and Monsters to Luxury Brands. Tick the categories you want or play with everything.
3 to 100 players. Type in whatever number your group actually is.
One imposter, or several. Decide whether they know who each other are, which turns two liars into a team.
Two ways to play. One Round is a single word and a single vote. Elimination deals once and you vote somebody out each round, until the crew has ejected every imposter or the imposters equal the crew.
Choose what the imposter gets. Nothing at all, just the category, a vague clue, or a completely different word they never find out is wrong. That last one is the cruel one.
A discussion timer, if your group needs the pressure.
MAKE YOUR OWN WORDS
Build word packs of your own. Inside jokes, people you know, the names of everyone at the party. Each word can carry its own clue. Your packs sit right next to the built in categories on the setup screen, so you can mix them in or play a round of nothing but them. Made a good one? Send it to a friend and it drops straight into their copy of the game.
NOTHING GIVES THE IMPOSTER AWAY
Every card makes the exact same sound and the same vibration, whatever is printed on it. Nobody can work out who the imposter is by listening to the phone or watching the screen light up.
NO ACCOUNT, NO INTERNET, NO ADS
The whole game runs on your phone. Nothing is collected, nothing is uploaded, and there is nothing to sign up for. It works on a plane, in a basement, or anywhere else with no signal.
Good for a party, a long car ride, a classroom, a work thing you did not want to go to, or four people waiting for a table.
