Manila PDF Scanner & Sign
Searchable scans, no account
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
No account, no watermark, no subscription. Scans land as real PDFs in your own iCloud Drive, so they are yours in the Files app from the first tap. Pro is one payment.
Manila turns paper into a clean, searchable PDF and puts it straight into your own iCloud Drive. No account to make, no watermark on the page, and nothing uploaded to anybody's server. Scanning is free and stays free, however many pages and however often.
SCANNING THAT GETS OUT OF THE WAY
- Open the app and the camera is ready. Edges are found, perspective is squared, and the page is cleaned up automatically.
- Multi-page scans in one pass. Reorder, rotate, crop, retake or delete any page before you save.
- Text recognition runs quietly in the background, so the finished PDF is searchable and its words can be selected in any other app.
- Half-finished scans are kept. Close the app mid-scan and it offers your pages back.
YOUR FILES, ACTUALLY YOURS
- Every document is a real PDF file in a visible folder in your iCloud Drive. Open it in Files, mail it, move it, back it up, or delete this app and keep everything.
- Folders are real folders. Tags are the same tags the Files app uses.
- Search by name or by what a document actually says.
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud of ours. There is nothing to lose access to.
SENDING IT SOMEWHERE
- Share as a genuine PDF attachment, not a link.
- Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files, Photos or print, all free.
- Choose a smaller file when something has to fit under an email limit.
MANILA PRO, ONE PAYMENT
- Sign and fill: reusable signatures, typed text, dates and ticks, flattened into the page so they survive anywhere.
- Copy and export the recognised text of any scan.
- Document tools: merge, split, extract pages, compress, password protect, number pages and stamp.
- Add pages by scanning or importing straight into a document you already have.
PRIVACY, PLAINLY
Everything happens on your device: the capture, the cleanup, the text recognition, the signing, the compression. Nothing is uploaded. There are no analytics, no advertising and no third-party services of any kind. The only place your documents go is the iCloud Drive folder you can see for yourself.
ONE PRICE, FOREVER
Scanning, the library, folders, tags, search and every way of sending a document out are free and always will be. Manila Pro is a single one-time purchase that covers your iPhone and iPad and restores free on a new device. There is no subscription, no trial and nothing that renews.
Point it at the paper on your desk and get on with your day.
