Pocketstone is a crystal guide for people who already love their stones. Photos of the stones, each one's chakra and traditional uses, how to cleanse the stone and charge it safely, and how to tell a real one from a fake.
HOW IT WORKS
Find your stone. Answer six quick questions, or skip them and pick the stone you already own. Either way you get your own stone and a small set of stones that go with it.
Every day. Each day brings one stone from your set, a small task you can actually finish, a short note, and a page in your journal. Once a week a visiting stone from outside your set comes by. Check in with one tap to keep your streak, with streak freezes for the days you miss.
The moon. Today shows the moon's phase and what people who work with stones do at that point of the month. On the full moon and the new moon a card says what tonight is for, and your reminder says so too.
Hold your stone. A quiet minute on Today: hold your stone and set one intention in your own words. Each stone has an intention line to start from, and a short page on how to set one.
Your shelf. Tap "I own this" on any stone and it joins your shelf, with where it lives, a note and your own photo, which stays on your phone. Stones you own come up more often in your days.
Your sign, if you want it. Tick one box and your birthday gives your star sign; we keep only the sign. You get a short line for it each day, three stones for your sign, and can see how it gets on with any other sign.
What to wear, and why. Pick up a colour and a material that go with today's stone, with the reason shown step by step.
51 STONES
Every stone has its own page, with photographs of real stones on 49 of the 51: what it is, its chakra, what people have traditionally linked it with, how people use it, colours to wear with it, and the stones it goes with. Search the library by name, by group such as heart or throat, or by sign, and browse it by centre, root to crown.
Cleansing and charging, stone by stone. Every page says plainly whether the stone can go in water, in sunlight or in salt, because the wrong one can ruin it. Selenite dissolves in water. Amethyst fades in strong sun. Salt is kept away from soft, porous or easily split stones.
Good to know. Every stone has a note to help you tell a real one from a fake or a dyed one. Most citrine sold today is heated amethyst. Larimar comes from one place on Earth. The facts are facts and the traditions are described as traditions.
WHAT ELSE IS IN HERE

It does not identify a rock from a photo. It does not ask for your birth time or draw a chart. It makes no claim that a stone changes anything in your body. Pocketstone is for reflection and everyday self-care. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for professional care.
