The same photo with the same settings always gives the same result — no randomness, no rerolling and hoping. ■ The viewport is the preview What you frame is what you get: drag, zoom, change the grid, change the palette, and the image snaps to pixels the moment you let go. ■ Palettes come first Extract a palette from the photo automatically, or pick a built-in retro set: the four greens of Handheld 1989, the sixteen colors of Terminal 1981, Fantasy 16, Amber Print, Glacier, Graphite, Ink & Paper. Every artwork states exactly which colors it used. ■ Crisp export Nearest-neighbor integer scaling — one pixel stays one clean square, never smudged by a resampler. An honest limit: at small grids (16–48) a portrait is stylized charm, not a likeness.
