The loudest complaint about packing apps is not the price. It is the list that was gone after an
update, the night before a flight. Packwell keeps everything on your device and works offline.
ENTRY RULES, FROM THE SOURCE
225 destinations. For 197 of them Packwell tells you whether your passport needs a visa and how
long you can stay, plus the conditions that catch people out — onward ticket, proof of funds,
minimum passport validity. Government travel advice is shown exactly as written, with the date and
a link to the original. Nothing is rewritten and nothing is invented. Travelling on another
passport? Switch it in one tap and every answer changes with it.
THE QUANTITIES ARE RIGHT
One more night does not mean one more of everything. Packwell works from your trip length, whether
there is a washing machine where you are going, and the fact that a jumper gets worn four times —
but never for underwear and socks, because nobody wears those twice.
WHAT EVERYONE FORGETS
Adapter, power bank, prescription, spare glasses, the charger for the thing that is not your phone.
Packwell suggests exactly the items people remember on arrival, each with one line explaining why
it is on the list.
YOUR DOCUMENTS, OFFLINE
Boarding pass, the photo page of your passport, the hotel booking, the insurance policy — kept on
this device and nowhere else. No account, no upload, no sync. They open with no signal, at full
brightness, without digging through four thousand photos in a queue. Five documents per trip are
included; Pro removes the limit.
ON THE DAY YOU LEAVE
One screen instead of four: how long until departure, when to leave home, when check-in opens, your
documents, and the door check. Enter your departure time and Pro works the timing out from how
you're travelling — three hours for a flight, one for a train, none for your own car.
BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR
Four big targets: wallet, phone, passport, tickets. Plus a warning if anything in the documents
section is still unresolved — the one category you cannot re-buy at your destination.
WEATHER THAT CHANGES SOMETHING
Temperature and rain for the days you are actually away, turned into two or three concrete
suggestions. If the forecast does not reach the end of your trip, Packwell says so instead of
pretending to know more than it does.
