AzimuthLedger Field Bearings
Sight, Record, Verify Offline
$9.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Turn a live heading into a trustworthy field record: named landmarks, confidence, notes, declination, angular coverage, and geometry checks—offline.
AzimuthLedger is a focused field-bearing notebook for navigators, expedition leaders, outdoor educators, search teams, and anyone who needs to preserve what was sighted—not merely glance at a compass.
Use the live sighting instrument to lock a heading, then record the landmark with an observation note and confidence level. Preserve optional range and elevation context, magnetic declination, a private field-grid label, station date, sector, and the complete bearing ledger.
Plot view turns the station into a clear radial diagram. Its coverage check highlights weak observation geometry and encourages sightings across useful directions before the station is treated as a dependable reference. Duplicate a station for the next field day without rebuilding its operating context.
AzimuthLedger is not turn-by-turn navigation, an offline-map provider, a certified surveying instrument, an emergency beacon, or a substitute for trained navigation practice and appropriate primary equipment. Sensor accuracy varies by device and environment.
Field stations stay in the app container on your device. There is no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, AI processing, or developer-server upload. AzimuthLedger is a one-time purchase for people who value disciplined observation records.
