Select the text, tap a template, and it comes back better — right there in WhatsApp, Mail, Notes, wherever you were. Fix the typos. Make it formal. Cut it in half. Translate it. Reply to a tricky message with grace. Or go the other way and make it Kawaii, Dev-speak, or Shakespearean, because sometimes that's the point. HOW IT FITS INTO YOUR DAY • Recast Keys, a keyboard: switch to it in any app, tap a template, and your selected text (or the paragraph you're in) is replaced in place. One tap undoes it. • Share sheet: select text in Safari, Notes, Mail → Share → Recast. • Shortcuts and the Action button: "Recast text" runs anywhere Shortcuts does. TEMPLATES YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ Every template is plain instructions in plain words — nothing hidden. Use the built-ins for the everyday stuff, browse the market for the fun ones, or write your own. YOUR MODEL, YOUR CALL Bring your own key (Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter) or run a model on your own machine with Ollama or LM Studio. Or subscribe to Recast Pro and skip the setup entirely. Same account and templates as Recast for Mac. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your text goes from your phone straight to the model you chose. Recast never logs what you type. Keys live in the iOS Keychain and nowhere else. Recast Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
