What's New in Version 1.3 Photos on your route — Road Trip Replay finds photos you took during a trip and pins them along the route. They appear as you play back your journey, and you can tap any pin to view the full image. Richer trip stats — each trip now shows top speed, moving average speed, total climb and descent, highest and lowest points, moving time, stopped time, and number of stops — all calculated on-device from your GPS data. Higher quality video export — a new High Quality export option renders at 1440×2560 with a higher bitrate for sharper map detail and text, and is now the default. iCloud backup — your trips are automatically backed up to your private iCloud account. Install the app on a new device and your trips restore automatically. Performance improvements — faster loading throughout, especially for long trips with large numbers of GPS points.

Playback can follow the actual pacing of your drive, so fast stretches fly by and slow ones linger, just like they did in real life. Import Routes: Bring in a GPX file from anywhere and it works just like a trip you recorded yourself - view it, play it back, export it again. Siri & Lock Screen Improvements: Starting a recording with Siri now works reliably even when your phone is locked or connected to CarPlay, with a quick notification to confirm it started. The Lock Screen widget also now respects your km/mile setting and clears immediately when you stop recording. Plus a handful of smaller fixes and polish throughout.
