Rondo 2.0 — your photos and videos become a film cut to your track. THE MEDIA BACKGROUND Add up to 12 photos and videos (4 clips): they follow one another over the track, each with its own share of it. Drag the handle between two blocks to move their boundary, long-press a thumbnail to reorder, tap one to seek straight to it. Five spreads in one tap: equal parts, at the changes in the track, full clips, longer and longer, shorter and shorter. For a clip you pick the passage that plays, and a short clip loops instead of stopping. Per media: veil, motion, blur, pump on the kick, shake, flash and glitch — four reactivity presets, or your own. Seven transitions between two media: cut, crossfade, through the background, white flash, slide, zoom, wipe. A NEW SCENE, AND SCENES THAT GOT MORE Nova, a field of light motes drifting and twinkling with the mix. Ring and Orb can wear a swarm of particles driven by the kick, LED lets you choose the number of rows, Rain's drops bounce at impact, and Hyperspace goes denser. A REDRAWN APP New library with project tiles, a clearer editor toolbar, buttons and chips redesigned, a new welcome, and a loading screen that no longer shifts the preview when a project opens. FASTER Videos are decoded at the size actually shown, so the preview holds its frame rate with several clips. On Android, a refused decoder repairs itself instead of killing playback, and "play from here" no longer loses the seek.

Two new scenes made for your own photo or video, in Widget mode: Player, the now-playing card — artwork, title, artist and a progress bar that really moves — and Wave, the track's waveform with its playhead, the music sticker of stories. Neon now writes accents, currencies and every symbol on your keyboard. A shortcut to the artwork settings from scenes that feature it. A faster editor: settings follow your finger, and the preview no longer stutters when you open a panel or adjust a scene — especially with a video background. Sliders show a handle even at zero. Title and artist fields keep the cursor where it is while you type; the keyboard no longer covers a panel and closes with it. Under the hood: React Native 0.86.3 and updated libraries.

Widget mode: the scene no longer has to fill the screen. Put it in a movable frame — wide, square or tall — and let your photo or video show around it. Drag it on the preview like any other block. Export a whole set as one video: your tracks chained with a crossfade, and the YouTube chapters copied, ready to paste. Artwork colours: your cover becomes a palette in one tap, without touching your brand colours. The export builds under your eyes, with a preview and the time left; it pauses when the app goes to the background and resumes where it was. Six starter looks, including « Studio »: VU meters in a frame over your photo. A clearer editor: Visual (scene, background, colours, frame, presets), Identity, Lyrics, Audio. In placement mode, pick the block to move right from the bar. Fixes: muting no longer restarts the visuals, MP3 timing stays exact on long tracks, the keyboard no longer hides text fields.

New « Tape Deck » scene and « Cassette » background for the lofi crowd — your artwork on the label, the reels spinning to the beat. Video background: pick a clip from your library, choose the passage on a filmstrip; it loops with the transition you like. Free tracks: search Freesound (CC0 and CC BY sounds) right from the app for a teaser or a demo. Lyrics: adjust the timing of each line while listening. Free text blocks (« Out now », a date, your label), each with its own typeface, size and appearance — with a delay if you want. Drag titles, texts and artwork right on the preview; the centre snaps. Artwork appearances, also inside a Spotify Canvas loop. Undo any change. Visuals now land exactly on the beat.

6 new scenes: a beatbox crew whose mouths articulate your track, a rhythm-game note highway, a custom neon sign that flickers with the music, a spinning turntable wearing your artwork, a night skyline, a neon oscilloscope. 4 new backgrounds: your own photo, rain on a lake, drifting colour mesh, night bokeh. Also: Set mode to chain your projects and project them on a TV, seamless loops on every scene, and a one-tap caption after each export. Everything still happens on your phone.
