Prodigies Games
Colorful music learning games
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Eight color bells, thirty-plus music games. Little ones learn notes, rhythm and pitch by playing, with the same bells Mr. Rob uses in Prodigies Music lessons.
Prodigies Games is over thirty music games for kids who are just starting out.
Every game speaks the same language: eight colored bells, C through high C, the same colors we use in Prodigies lessons and on real deskbells.
By playing fun games with the bells, young kids are exposed to meaningful and memorable play with pitch during their formative years. Kids who receive this kind of exposure to pitch during the critical period for auditory development develop a stronger sense for pitch and music.
WHAT IS INSIDE
Listening games. What Note Is It, Melody Memory, What Song Is It, What Interval Is It, Major or Minor, What Chord Is It, What Instrument, and Instrument Detective, a hidden-object sound hunt through Bell Village.
Note reading. Treble Trouble and Bass Attack put notes on a real staff and ask kids to read them and ring them.
Singing. Sing the Interval, Bell Hopper and Pitch Trainer listen through the microphone: sing the note and the bell hops, or watch your own voice as a moving pitch line. Treble Trouble can be played by singing instead of tapping.
Arcade. Flappy Bell, Musical Pipes, Note Racers, Bell Run, Bell Train, Bell Snake, Bell Breaker, PinBell, Whack-a-Bell, Beet Jumper, Bell Sort, and Melody Animals, a tangram puzzle that turns into an animal when you finish it.
Making music. Bell Composer, Make a Sweet Beat, and Bells & Beats let kids build something of their own instead of answering questions.
Tools. A playable bell set, a metronome, and a tuner.
HOW IT WORKS
There is no login, no account, and no ads. Open it and play. Progress and coins are saved on the device.
All games have free levels to start on. A handful have extra levels, and Unlock Everything is a single one-time purchase that opens all of them, forever, on your family's devices. No subscription.
A parental gate sits in front of the purchase and in front of any link that leaves the app, so a four-year-old cannot wander out or spend anything.
The colors match Chromanotes TM, Prodigies Deskbells an Bboomwhackers, so what a kid learns here transfers straight to the instrument in their hands. If you use the Prodigies curriculum, these are the same games your students already know.
Best for ages 4 to 8. Works on iPhone and iPad.
