EyeRhythm-Lite is a gentle eye-rest reminder for people who spend long hours on a Mac. It stays quietly in the menu bar, tracks active use locally, gives advance reminders before a break starts, and shows a simple fullscreen countdown when it is time to look away. Version 1.1 adds Eye Guardian, a playful companion that makes reminders feel warmer and easier to notice. The app now supports 20 languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and automatically follows your preferred macOS language. Access in version 1.1 requires activating the 7-day Trial or purchasing Full Unlock through Apple in-app purchase. The trial provides all features for seven days. Continued use after the trial expires requires Full Unlock, a one-time purchase for permanent access to all features. There is no subscription and the trial does not renew or charge automatically. What you can do: - Set your break interval, break duration, and advance reminder time - Start a break from the menu bar whenever you want - End a break early when something urgent comes up - View local daily and seven-day usage and break statistics - Adjust Eye Guardian’s click-to-dismiss behavior in Preferences - Use the app without an account, ads, analytics, cloud sync, or admin permissions Privacy stays simple. EyeRhythm-Lite does not collect user data and does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, Accessibility, Input Monitoring, administrator privileges, launch agents, helper tools, or background network access. Preferences and statistics stay on your Mac. Notification permission is optional and is used only for local break reminders.
