A REMINDER WHEN THE NEXT CHART IS DRAWN Turn it on and tomorrow's chart comes looking for you: one quiet reminder each morning, and if you're on a streak it says so, because a streak is a thing worth not breaking. Off until you ask for it, and never more than once a day. Also fixed: the clock no longer counts a rejected correction's penalty twice, so your solve time reads true instead of running high.

THE LESSONS NOW TEACH THE DEEP WATER Fiendish charts print a depth on every hex, and until now the notes never made clear whose number was whose. They do now: the number printed is what the chart shows, and the true depth is what the water measures. Three new lessons teach soundings and negations before you ever meet them on a real chart. Also fixed: a double tap while naming the lie no longer costs you two corrections.

THE WHOLE ISLAND, EVERY DAY Some islands are drawn taller than they are wide, and on those days the board was being clipped to a square. The bottom row of hexes was cut off the sheet, and dragging would not bring it back into view. The frame now takes its shape from the chart itself, so what is drawn and what is shown always agree, and a zoomed board pans to all four corners.

GUILD STREAK FREEZES NOW ACTUALLY HOLD Membership promised streak freezes without limit, and the app was not honouring it; a member could lose a run like anyone else. Members no longer spend a freeze at all, and the free monthly freeze comes back on the first, exactly as the Record screen always said it would. ONE RECORD ACROSS WEB AND APP Your streak and your solve count follow you between the browser and the phone, counted once each rather than twice. A FAIRER START The chart now arrives face down. Your clock starts when you begin the survey, and it never restarts. THE CHART READS BETTER Nocturne is a night chart now rather than an inverted day one. The key has become a proper legend, the compass rose sits on its own ground, the board has a neatline, and every ground code wears a single face. Bearings mean exactly what they say, and the tutorial teaches bearings and distance before you need them. Plus an audit of the Fiendish generator, a Guild page fully in Spanish, and the usual round of smaller fixes.

THE GUILD HAS A HOME Cartographer's Guild now has a proper page inside the app. See exactly what membership opens — the whole chart archive rather than the last seven days, unlimited streak freezes, and the ranked ladder — and join without leaving the map. MORE LANGUAGES The clues, the tutorial and the rest of the interface now speak more than English. THE MAP NO LONGER SHADES ITSELF Ticking a clue used to grey out the hexes it ruled out. That work is yours again. The deduction is the game, and doing it yourself is the point. COMPOSE YOUR OWN CHARTS The composer now walks a first-time setter through it a step at a time — choose the answer hex, add clues, watch the field narrow, check for contradictions — and it speaks your language the whole way.
