Sound Tools is the musician's toolbox: tuner, metronome and sound analyzer in a single app, with no account and no connection.
TUNER
Cent-level precision, with the note shown large and a needle that reacts instantly. It carries a catalog of instruments with their tunings — guitar, bass, ukulele, violin and many more — and turns each string green when it lands within ±5 cents. Pick the string by hand or let the app detect it on its own.
METRONOME
Tempo from 30 to 300 BPM, simple and compound time signatures, subdivisions and accents. Eight synthesized sounds — wood, clave, rim, clap, cowbell, bell, beep and mechanical — chosen so they cut through the instrument you are playing. Save your songs into setlists with sections and move between them without stopping rehearsal.
ANALYZER
Real-time spectrum, harmonics of the note that is sounding, and level in dB SPL. In Music mode it detects the key and the chords of whatever it is hearing, along with how certain it is: when it isn't sure, it says so instead of making something up.
ON APPLE WATCH
Tuner and metronome on your wrist, working on their own even if the iPhone stays at home. The watch metronome marks the beat with haptics, which you can still feel in a loud rehearsal when the speaker no longer cuts through. Your setlist and the level meter come along too.
YOUR AUDIO NEVER LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
Sound is processed in real time and is never recorded or sent to any server. There is no account to create and no data to register: whatever you write in your profile stays on your phone.

• On iPad the app now uses the whole screen: the needle and the strings are visible at once, and the metronome keeps the BPM in sight while you change the time signature.
• Turn your phone sideways and it still works. On its side, the tuner shows the note next to the needle, and the metronome shows the dial next to the play button.
• Freeze now sits right below the spectrum bars, where you are already looking.
• The tuner no longer jumps when the string dies away.
