You orbit the planet you are defending, and the shield goes wherever your thumb goes. That is the whole control scheme, and the whole problem: threats arrive from every direction at once, and you can only be in one place.
Every wave asks the same question in a different shape. Two drifters, opposite sides, both closing. A splitter that becomes two problems the moment you block it. An armored hull that needs a second hit you do not have time for. And somewhere in the gap between waves, a supply pod you have to deliberately let through — the one thing in the game you must not block.
FIFTY LEVELS, FIVE CHAPTERS
From Home Orbit out to the Hive Rim, each chapter introduces one new kind of threat and then quietly changes how often you meet it. Nothing arrives all at once, and nothing is a wall.
FIVE BOSSES, FIVE DIFFERENT QUESTIONS
The Broodmother hands you the two-sides problem while you are busy hitting her. The Weaver runs along your own ring. The Hivepod splits every time you hit it, so finishing it means making it worse first. The Watcher will not move while you are watching it. The Bulwark can only be hit from the flank, and its shield rotates — so you have to read an orientation that is not your own.
THREE STARS, AND THE THIRD ONE IS THE REAL GAME
Survive. Finish above sixty percent health. Finish without being touched at all. The third star asks for nothing new to learn — the same loop, held to a higher standard.
ENDLESS
One planet, no reset, and a curve that keeps climbing. The supply pod is the only way back up.
BUILT FOR ONE THUMB
Portrait, one hand, no buttons to hunt for. A swipe across the screen is exactly one lap of the ring. Tap to drop to the inner orbit, where you move faster but intercept later.

Ringwarden is free and supported by ads: one between chapters, and one you can choose to watch to continue a level you just lost. There are none during play — the quiet second between waves is the only rest the game gives you, and it is not for sale.
