Buying, sending, committing, or quitting? Set the decision aside for ten minutes or overnight, then return when the first impulse has cooled. You do not have to decide right now. Pause Before gives an impulsive decision a quiet place to rest, then brings it back when you have had time to think. Something you want late at night. A message you are about to send while upset. A commitment you feel pressured to accept. Something you want to quit on a difficult day. Choose ten minutes, one hour, overnight, 24 hours, three days, or a week. When the pause ends, compare your original reason with how you feel now. HOW IT WORKS 1. Capture what you are about to decide 2. Choose a cooling-off period 3. Receive an optional local reminder 4. Proceed, let it go, or give it more time FEATURES • Purchase, Send, Commit, Quit, and Other categories • Cooling-off periods from ten minutes to seven days • Optional local notifications • Save an amount, URL, image, and your original reason • Add a URL, text, or image from the iOS share sheet • Record outcomes and later reflections • Search and filter your history • Review amounts you chose not to spend and your average pause time • JSON/CSV export and validated JSON import PAUSE BEFORE PLUS A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited active pauses, custom times from five minutes to 30 days, all-time insights, widgets, app lock, a privacy cover, and an extra theme. There is no subscription. Restore Purchases is available on the same screen. The app does not decide for you. It simply creates a little space between an impulse and an action. No account, ads, or tracking. Your private decisions stay on your device. This app does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
