He speaks your language now. Everything he says has been translated: the words on the door when he stops you, the bark that reaches you with the phone still in your pocket, the questions he asks the first time you meet. By default he simply follows your phone, and if you would rather be told off in another language, Settings has a Language row. His numbers came with it. If your phone keeps a twenty-four hour clock, so does he, and dates, counts and prices are written the way your part of the world writes them. Two repairs worth naming. On a phone set to Light Mode, the words on the door could come out white on white. They are readable again, with thanks to the person who sent the photograph. And when he had several apps to watch at once, a day's hours could come out short, or yesterday's could still be sitting on top of today's. He keeps every day on its own now, so what he shows you is what you actually spent. Thank you for having him.

A kinder introduction, and tidier rules. Getting to know him is quicker now. He asks his few questions, tells you plainly what he made of them, and shows you what a rule is worth before you agree to anything. Rules are easier on the eye, too. Each one wears its own picture, so a glance is enough to tell them apart. The rest is quiet housekeeping. Thank you for having him.
