Knock down numbered pins with a thrown baton and land on exactly 50. Throw with a flick of the wrist — the phone is the baton. Skittle 50 is a score-attack game: knock down pins numbered 1 to 12 with a thrown baton and reach exactly 50 points. Your phone is the baton. Arm, snap your wrist, and the strength and angle of your swing decide where it flies. ■ Simple rules • Knock down one pin: score its number • Knock down two or more: score the number of pins • Exactly 50 wins. Go over and you drop back to 25 • Three misses in a row and it's game over • Fallen pins stand back up right where they landed, so the field keeps spreading out ■ Ways to play • Solo: how few throws do you need? Compete for the fewest throws on the Game Center leaderboard • Versus CPU: three difficulty levels • Pass and play: two players, one phone • Online: nearby devices, or anyone through Game Center ■ Feel • Tap the field to aim, then swing to throw. Turn your body to aim left and right • The baton flies in an arc, so you can clear the front row and hit the back directly • Haptics tell you "perfect", "close" or "too hard" the moment you throw • A one-time calibration matches the game to your own swing strength ■ Dress up Play to earn capsules and dress Mamesuke, your guide, in hats, suits, glasses and more — 59 items in all. ■ Stay safe Never let go of the phone while swinging, and make sure there is nobody and nothing around you.
