Readholic: AI Reader
Explain, Flashcards & Quizzes
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Read difficult PDFs and EPUBs without leaving your reading flow. Explain tricky passages, ask follow-ups, and turn what you learn into flashcards and quizzes.
Understand difficult material without interrupting your reading flow.
Readholic is a PDF and EPUB reader designed to help you understand and retain what you read: textbooks, research papers, technical books, and classics. When a passage is unclear, select it and tap Explain. Ask follow-up questions, turn the same material into flashcards or quizzes, and review it with spaced repetition until it sticks.
READ AND UNDERSTAND
• Read your PDF and EPUB books and documents in one place.
• Select a difficult passage and get an AI explanation without leaving the page.
• Ask follow-up questions while keeping the original text in front of you.
• Every explanation is saved with the highlighted passage, right where you found it.
• Works with academic material, including mathematical notation.
FIND SOMETHING TO READ
• Import your own files or download public-domain classics from Project Gutenberg.
• Get free, open textbooks from OpenStax, optimized for comfortable reading.
• Read research papers from arXiv as clean, reflow-able text.
TURN READING INTO STUDY
• Generate flashcards from a selected passage or an entire chapter.
• Quiz yourself with multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and written-response questions, and get your answers graded by AI.
• Review with spaced repetition. Cards due for review are waiting for you in the Study tab.
LEARNING MEMORY
Readholic keeps a brief summary of the concepts you have studied so that future explanations can build on what you already know instead of starting from zero. You stay in control: view, disable, or reset your Learning Memory in Settings at any time.
LEARN WITH THE COMMUNITY
• Discover flashcard decks shared by other learners.
• Search by book, subject, or topic and filter by language.
• Download decks to study in Readholic, rate the ones you find useful, and thank their creators.
• Share your own decks. Only the cards you publish become public. Your books, notes, and reading history always remain private.
YOUR LANGUAGE, YOUR CHOICE
• Readholic supports English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Arabic.
• Choose the language for explanations and flashcards independently of the book’s language. Read an English textbook and learn in Spanish, Japanese, or Arabic.
Readholic is for students, professionals, researchers, and lifelong learners who want more than summaries.
