Connect nearby people and groups. Check in, share area or group alerts, and explore recent reports on the map. Core alert features require active access. VIBAN is the short app name for Guardian. Help nearby people know when something needs attention. VIBAN is a mutual-aid alert and notification tool for communities, neighborhoods and shared workplaces. Connect with linked members, share alerts and report incident status together. AREA AND GROUP ALERTS Check in with your current location to receive nearby area alerts. Location-based access lasts up to 9 hours, with a visible countdown and an option to switch it off earlier. Group alerts notify members of your linked groups without requiring location check-in. ALERT MAP AND HISTORY Explore reports from the last 7 days on a hybrid satellite map. Filter by today, the last 3 days or the last 7 days. Confirmed and pending alerts use different colors. Browse the list to review alert history and reporting status. LINK PEOPLE AND CREATE GROUPS Invite and link members, then create and manage notification groups to keep the people you need to reach connected. PRACTICE BEFORE YOU NEED IT Practice mode is off by default and switches off automatically 3 minutes after activation. Only eligible users who enable practice mode receive nearby practice alerts. Daily limits and reception range follow the system settings. THREE LANGUAGES AND ACCOUNT SERVICES Use the app in Traditional Chinese, English or Vietnamese. Access announcements, send feedback and manage your account. ACCESS PLANS The app is free to download. Core features, including area alerts, group alerts and practice, require active access. A one-time 60-day access plan is available through In-App Purchase. You can purchase it again to add access days; it does not renew automatically. The purchase screen shows your App Store price. CHECK-IN ACTIVITIES When the activity is available, eligible users with active access can accumulate check-in days without a time limit and enter a prize draw after reaching the required number of days. No separate purchase of draw entries is required. Eligibility, official rules, prizes, odds and availability are provided in the app. Apple is not a sponsor or organizer and is not involved in the activity. LOCATION AND NOTIFICATIONS Location is obtained when you actively use a location feature, not for continuous location tracking. Notification delivery depends on your network, device permissions, notification settings and volume settings. VIBAN is a mutual-aid notification tool, not a replacement for police, fire, medical, security or other emergency services. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
