This update turns Family Missions into an app where the family actually talks to each other. THE FAMILY CHAT One conversation for the whole family: who said it, at what time, and a tick that turns blue once everyone has read it. A child who can't type yet picks their sentences from buttons. And you can put a child or the other parent on a message, so "Well done!" is no longer addressed to nobody. VOUCHERS IN A WALLET An earned reward is now a ticket with a number. Your child requests it, you approve, together you pick a day, and once it has happened you stamp it. Redeemed vouchers stay for a year, grouped by month. A MESSAGE FROM MUM OR DAD A compliment as its own card on your child's screen, with stars if you want. Your child can answer it with a single emoji. THE FAMILY GOAL, IN PLAIN SIGHT Who contributed to it, and how much — with a day-by-day view. Routines now count towards the goal too. FOR YOUR CHILD Their own "Family" tab: who is in the family, and what a brother or sister did this week. Stuck? Asking for help now really reaches a parent, and helping someone earns a star. ALSO - Everything runs live: what happens on one phone shows up on the other straight away. - At the top for parents: the chat, switching to a child, and the vouchers — with a counter when something is waiting for you. - A mission is now a one-off; anything that repeats is a routine. - And a long list of fixes, including a chat where you could send messages that never arrived.

This update fixes an issue that could close the app shortly after opening. Advertising has also been removed from Family Missions entirely — nowhere in the app, on any plan, not even the free one.

Version 2 is a complete redesign — calmer, quicker, and a lot more fun to use together. FOR YOUR CHILD • The day became a climb. Every task is a stop; the longer they take part, the higher they get. You set a new one in a single tap. Also: dark mode on every screen, your own family name, and a great many small things put right.
