Burnout: Quit Smoking & Vaping

Stop smoking, vaping and snus

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Coals on day one, a tree by year one. Cigarettes, vapes and pouches on one clock, milestones that name their source, and a plant that never shrinks. On the day you stop, Home is a bed of coals with one seed in it. Reach a milestone and the plant standing there grows. It never shrinks again — not on the day you slip, not the week after. ONE QUIT, NOT THREE Cigarettes, a vape, pouches, snus, dip: tick whatever you actually use. Burnout puts them on one clock, because that is how your body meets them. Somebody who moved off cigarettes onto pouches is still in the middle of one quit, and this app treats it that way. THE THREE DAYS Nicotine has a half-life of roughly two hours, so it is out of you inside about three days. Burnout counts those hours down from your own last one and names the phase you are standing in. The third day is usually the hardest, and it has an end you can see. MILESTONES THAT NAME THEIR SOURCE Twenty minutes. Twelve hours. Then day one and day three, week one, week two, month one, month three, half a year, a year, five years, ten, fifteen. Open any mark and the fact arrives with the body that publishes it: NHS, WHO, CDC, the US Surgeon General's report. Where those bodies disagree — and on the heart at one year they do — you get the range they disagree across, never the number that sounds best. SIX ORGANS, SIX CLOCKS Lungs, heart, brain, circulation, skin, gums. Each moves on the curve its own evidence supports: circulation improving across two to twelve weeks, coughing and wheezing easing over three to nine months. Nothing here is allowed to run ahead of what is known. WHEN THE URGE ARRIVES Four ways through it, none of them behind a price: breathe on a set count, run a clock and sit with the pull until it drops, read back the reasons you wrote in your own words, or spend ten minutes on small errands. Write down what you rode out and it becomes evidence for the next one. STOP TODAY, OR STEP DOWN TO IT Set a date and start the clearance now, or build a ramp that walks your daily count to zero by a day you can point at on a calendar. Both are real quitting. RAIN, NOT RUIN A slip brings weather over the timeline for a while. It does not fell the plant and it does not take back one milestone you reached. Your longest run stays on the record beside the new one, and the comeback can begin the same evening. THE MONEY YOU KEPT What you did not spend on cigarettes, pods or cans stacks up in front of you, day by day. Pro opens the rest of that picture: the line week by week, what the habit would have cost by now, and what the same money does if you leave it alone. ALSO INSIDE · A day-by-day calendar of your whole record · A recovery score built from four measured parts · Withdrawal symptoms set against the windows they are measured to run in · Your weight against the average gain published for people who stop · Painted badges for every milestone behind you · Reminders you set yourself, and one export file that carries all of it to your next phone · No account and no sign-up: it starts counting the minute you open it · Five languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese BURNOUT PRO Pro adds the ninety-day projection for each organ, the journal, home-screen widgets, your milligrams of nicotine week by week, the weight and symptom logs, the whole money picture, and every day of history behind the last thirty. Monthly, yearly, or one payment that ends it. The timeline, the milestones, the three-day clearance, the urge tools and the running total of what you kept cost nothing and stay that way. Burnout is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Talk to your doctor about stopping, particularly if you take medication or use nicotine replacement.
